Location: It's okay, but a bit far from all the attractions, requiring a 15-20 minute walk or more to each. So, if you're not up for a lot of walking, you might want to reconsider. Facilities: For Italy, the room was quite decent. There was plenty of space to open two 28-inch suitcases flat. The shower, in typical Italian style, was small and narrow. The overall decor was very unique, and the air conditioning was excellent – it could get to a 'freezing' level. Cleanliness: I didn't find any major issues with cleanliness. Service: The breakfast was delicious. The à la carte hot food set, combined with the self-service cold items and bread, was a real highlight, despite the typical Italian saltiness.

The Hoxton Florence is an amazing hotel. I love how new and clean everything feels — it opened in March 2025 and still has that fresh, modern vibe. The staff are young, friendly, and vprofessional. The location is great: it’s a pleasant 10–15 minute walk to the city centre and major sights. Best of all, the surrounding neighbourhood is quiet and residential, which makes it a relaxing base after busy days exploring Florence.

Had an amazing 6 night stay at The Hoxton. A great location, only 10 mins walk out of the tourist area, the bed was comfy, shower was amazing and those bath towels - so warm and fluffy! Highlights included - 1. The breakfast which included a choice of eggs and sides and a buffet of continental meats, bagels, croissants, fruit, cereal, yoghurts, cakes, juices and of course coffee. Although the buffet offering is not huge, I thought everything was well curated, high quality, held its place (pictured - the poached eggs with the works) and every morning seeing Francesco's friendly face was amazing. 2. Front desk/reservation service and help - every request was answered quickly and efficiently with a fast checkin/checkout. thanks for answering all my questions Virginia. The thing I didn't enjoy so much was the Trofie pesto pasta at Alassio - a bit bland and the pesto didn't quite hit the spot for me.

I absolutely love this hotel, it's truly fantastic. The building has so much historic charm, and the location is quite good – about a five-minute walk from the light rail. The surrounding area is excellent, with a popular small restaurant, a laundromat, a bar, and a superb coffee shop for breakfast. It is a bit far from the main tourist attractions, but walking to them in the quiet morning sunshine is a really pleasant and worthwhile experience. The rooms here are very spacious; I opted for a superior room, and the bathroom was also incredibly roomy, which is a rare find. The bedding was quite comfortable, and the hotel was very accommodating in meeting our customized requests. The room key card is especially beautiful! We tried both the hotel's restaurant and bar – the food was delicious, and the drinks were great. You definitely shouldn't miss them!

Rooms were amazing and immaculate. The hotel is stunning and the staff so friendly. Also loved how you can buy dribks/water etc at a cheap shop price from reception. Water and milk was left in our room every day.

The hotel is beautiful. Location is great for tourists - quiet but not far from destinations. However, on the day of our arrival, we were given a room with smaller-size bed and accessible bathroom, without checking with us if this arrangement was okay. We felt the bed was smaller in size right away and went back to front desk to ask if this was the room type we booked. The lady insisted it was a regular room with a king-size bed. Later that day we found the accessible bathroom was not easy to use as water flooded out easily. Also the room was next to the elevator so a bit noisy during nighttime. We asked front desk again, and luckily the gentleman at the front desk at nighttime agreed to change a room for us the next day. We then realized the room given to us on the second day was the actual room type we booked, with king-size bed, a regular bathroom, a larger window and a desk. We understood accessible rooms is regulatory requirement, but we did not book accessible room, and it should be checked with guests at check-in if giving a different room type other than guests’ booking is ok, and should be a clarified if guests specifically ask about the correct room type. We ended up staying in the smaller room on the first night and moved to the correct room type on the second night. Thanks to the front desk staff who helped us changing to the regular room.

Perfect experience I would say. Nice room with a balcony. Very very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. The decoration of the public area in the hotel is also nice, I like the fountain with flowers in the middle. The only headache is tooooo much flies and mosquitoes, really annoying at night. BTW the smell of shampoo and body wash is nice.
