Grand Hotel Adriatico

This is my second stay here after visiting Tuscany. The hotel is within walking distance to all the attractions and very convenient for the train station. The breakfast spread is quite good, and the lobby is spacious and beautiful.

The hotel is very close to the train station, but it feels very safe. The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was absolutely charming; he heard my husband was learning Italian and chatted with him for ages, which really made our day! Our room faced the courtyard instead of the street, so it was very quiet, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread was extensive, and I'd say it offers excellent value for money in Italy. We're very grateful for the hotel's service and ambiance, which made our two days in Florence truly enjoyable.

The environment is great, the service is warm and friendly, and the breakfast is abundant. It's a good value for money option among Florence's four-star hotels. The hotel is right near the train station, making it convenient for getting around, and the amenities are also very complete.

The room was old and small, barely fitting two suitcases. As for hygiene, the comforters really need to be replaced; they were quite yellow. Luckily, I brought my own bedding, otherwise, I wouldn't have dared to sleep in them. Service was good and very enthusiastic.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was freshly ground! However, the rooms are a bit dated, with wallpaper peeling off, and the elevator can be a bit slow. The location is great though, about a 10-minute walk from the subway station.

Great location, you can basically walk to all the attractions. It's also very close to the train station.
