Under the Tuscan sun, the hotel's small courtyard is perfect for sunbathing when the weather is good. When it's not, it offers shelter from the rain. The room balcony overlooks the courtyard, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. There's also a supermarket nearby, which is convenient.

Mixed Stay — Nice Room, Terrible Service 😬 Honestly, the hotel itself wasn’t bad — the room had high ceilings, a decent bed, and a practical little kitchenette. 🛏️✨ But the experience had some frustrating downsides. Having to do self check-in via an emailed code because reception is only staffed 9:00–14:00 felt inconvenient, and charging €1 for an espresso at reception (instead of offering complimentary coffee or having it in-room) just came across as cheap. ☕💸 The location could’ve been closer to the centre too, though it wasn’t the worst. 📍 Then came checkout — and this completely ruined the stay. The male staff member who called himself Gabriele behaved in a totally unacceptable way. After I showed my passport, my travel companion (who lives in Italy) presented her permesso (a valid national ID). He immediately became aggressive, shouting and insisting it wasn’t an official document — which is simply untrue. 🚫📄 She even offered a photo of her passport, which he eventually accepted, but his behaviour was intimidating, unprovoked, and honestly disturbing. It’s hard not to feel that he targeted her because she’s a young woman — the whole interaction was deeply uncomfortable and inappropriate. 😡 Disgusting conduct — not just towards paying guests, but towards people in general. I would not recommend. #HotelReview #TravelExperience #CustomerServiceFail #NotRecommended #TravelDisappointment #HospitalityMatters #RespectGuests 🚩

Horrible room! There were ants all over the walls and floor. The front desk staff denied it when I complained. At night, ants would even crawl onto the bed and pillows! A huge no-go! 🙅‍♀️🐜 I'm not the only one who's mentioned this in the reviews! The hygiene is a serious concern. Plus, the pillowcases and other bedding weren't changed during my two-day stay. 🐜 I'm not exaggerating – I killed at least 30 ants! They just kept coming onto the bed!!!

This is hands down the worst value-for-money and most disappointing Airbnb I've ever stayed in. First off, the location is incredibly inconvenient, taking at least 20 minutes by bus to reach Florence city center. The room layout was odd, feeling like a converted living room of an old villa with incredibly high ceilings. Our ground-floor room was right next to the road, and the constant noise from passing vehicles at night made it impossible to sleep. Then, around 6 or 7 AM, the staff were loudly moving things and chatting in the hallway, severely disrupting our rest. When we raised these issues, the staff member was very helpful and moved us to a top-floor room, for which we were very grateful. However, this room was a converted attic space, with half the ceiling being the roof itself, and a skylight only covered by a tattered piece of cloth. The hygiene was even more unacceptable: the room was dark, damp, and extremely dirty. There were obvious stains in the water glasses, spiderwebs covered the ceiling, and ants were everywhere – on the floor, walls, and even crawling onto the bed. Overall, the ambiance, cleanliness, and location were all severely mismatched with the price. An extremely poor experience – choose with caution!!!!

The room was amazing - it was really lovely, it felt very posh. The two hosts we spoke to were some of the loveliest people we have come across in Italy so far! The location is around 20/25 minutes walk to the central sites with a train station nearby. It was lovely and I would stay again

The worst part of my entire trip to Italy was staying at this hotel, which completely ruined my mood and ruined my days in Florence. First of all, the room has terrible sound insulation. The noise from the next room was extremely loud. I was woken up in the middle of the night almost every night, leaving me feeling anxious and having nightmares. I reported the issue to the host, but nothing was done to fix it. Secondly, the room is damp with outdated facilities. Every morning the bedding felt clammy and uncomfortable to sleep under. Lastly, the location is inconvenient. It’s far from all the major attractions, and Florence’s public buses are notoriously unreliable and never on time. I’d strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. This single rental ruined my whole Florence experience. Even when I was out sightseeing during the day, I kept worrying I’d be kept up by that dreadful noise again at night. I really regret not spending a bit more to stay in a proper hotel instead.

The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from attractions like the Duomo, and roughly 25-30 minutes from the river. Of course, you can also take the bus – there's a bus stop right next to the hotel, which is quite convenient. The room itself was pretty clean. It's not a large hotel, but the crystal chandelier in the room was so beautiful and romantic. The guy at the front desk was really nice and spoke fluent English.

Overall, the location is pretty good, about a 20-minute walk from Florence Cathedral. As for value for money, I suppose it depends on whether it's peak or off-peak season. The owner must have upgraded me to a suite, which was much larger than expected, almost like a two-story villa. The hotel garden is beautiful, with birds chirping and flowers blooming every morning. The facilities are average, but perfectly adequate. If I get the chance to visit Florence again, I'd be happy to choose this hotel.

The stay was nice and the staff were friendly. The environment is warm and cosy. The room is clean. The only issue we had was that the shower faucet was slightly faulty which we could bear with. Staff were very nice and Gabriel and Armando were very helpful. Location is further away from the city center but walkable distance and quieter which we enjoyed. Overall a nice pleasant experience.

The hotel is located in a residential area, not too far from the train station and attractions like the Duomo. The room was rustic, quiet, and clean, though a bit small, especially the bathroom.

I was extremely satisfied with this booking. A well-stocked supermarket is conveniently located just 300 meters away, so we were able to buy steak and fish and cook them ourselves in the apartment. The apartment also features a small garden, perfect for unwinding with an evening drink – it was incredibly relaxing! The embassy is also very close by, which is worth a quick visit. Along the way, there's a charming small park where you can sit and feed the pigeons, which was truly delightful!

The hotel is a 20-30 minute walk from nearby attractions, and there's a large supermarket close by, which is very convenient. Check-out time is before 10 AM.

Good location , with access to all attractions within 30 minutes by bus. But I would call it a half self servering Airbnbhostel rather than a proper hotel- with old bedding clothes , old shabby towels , tiny bottles of shampoo , no showering gel , no cups for mouthwash -There are cups in the "kitchen area ", but you need to clean up yourself after. No staff is at the reception after 2:30pm .The room is reasonably big, with a "kitchen " adjacent to the sleeping room , consisting of a kitchen table (nice ), a sofa (suspiciously unclean), and a cooking corner. But if you use anything there (pan, cutlery , coffee cups, spoons....) , you need to clean it yourself. Otherwise you pay 10 euros for them to do. Obviously, they have full trust in the clients to do the cleaning job. The coffee spoon i first used was with a brown stain. Fortunately, I could tell the stain was also from previous coffee. I just don't know since when. When I tried to clean the cups , I found a dirtty clean sponge that was ages old and dissolved in dust right away in my hands..by the way , the heat doesn't work well and it is quite cold in the night in November Florence... I wonder how this " hotel " can get so good reviews . I feel that I am obligated to speak out our real experience in order to stop more people from being misled by the "so good reviews.""
