This is a hotel probably bought out by C-Hotels. It definitely did not feel like a 4-star hotel, more like a 2 or 3 star hotel.
Strengths:
- The hotel location was perfect. It was right by Firenze SMN train station and was only a 1-2 minute walk away.
- Great breakfast buffet and friendly restaurant staff. Helped make coffees proactively every money. Super attentive.
- Two elevators in the hotel.
Weaknesses:
- The hotel WiFi did not work on our first day but they got it fixed shortly.
- They seemed to be short on towels and pillows. We had to keep asking for more towels because they only gave us 1-2 towels per bathroom. We also needed the sofa bed and requested for 2 more pillows because the pillows are thin but we couldn’t get any extra pillows until our last night.
- One of the two TVs did not work/did not turn on.
- Hair dryer in the bathroom did not work. There was also no bathroom fan so the bathroom always smelled funky. We had a “junior suite” (the best room that they had apparently so we got no room upgrade) which was just two connecting rooms but one room had a sofa bed with a small bathroom while the other room had a queen bed with a slighter bigger bathroom. The smaller bathroom had a shower with a flimsy, stow-away shower doors. There was only one hybrid shampoo and shower gel provided for a 4-star hotel.
- Lots of mosquitoes and flies were inside the room.
- While the design of the room was modern, the room already looks tired and worn out. Towels smelled funny, bed sheets didn’t appear to be the cleanest, and room floors still seemed dirty.
- Poor sound proofing as we could hear sounds coming from the outside on the ground floor. We were in floor 1 (second floor) and right outside the elevator.
- Our luggages were just left outside in the open lobby where we had left them when we arrived at the hotel (before the 3 pm check-in) for storage. We left them around 1 or 2 pm and we came back in the evening. Thought they’d store the luggage somewhere more secure.

The hotel is conveniently located near a Carrefour supermarket and Chinese restaurants. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the Duomo, making it ideal for travelers arriving by train in Florence or planning day trips from the city.

Flight got cancelled due to geopolitical unrest. Hotel was not compassionate enough to allow a refund or any refund. Oh well thankful Trip helped in a little refund.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the train station. Right after I booked, the price dropped, and after I contacted Trip.com, customer service immediately refunded the difference. When we checked our luggage, the front desk tried to upsell us to a larger room for 30 Euros, but we didn't have much luggage so we declined. The room was indeed small, mainly the bathroom door was hard to open without bumping into things; it should really be a sliding door. All visible areas were quite clean, but there was a lot of dust on the cups and tabletop. A kettle and tea bags were provided, but no free water. The kettle also had a lot of limescale, so I didn't dare use it. Breakfast was quite simple. Overall, it's good value for money.

The room's ventilation wasn't great; it felt a bit stuffy, and the air conditioning was practically useless. The facilities were quite old – the carpet, bedspread, and towels were all pilling. Breakfast was decent, with some green vegetables available. The location was relatively good; we could walk to all the attractions. After dark, we strolled around nearby and even stumbled upon a carousel and a large Milan Winter Olympics logo.

The hotel breakfast was quite good. The location is also decent, very close to the train station. However, there are quite a few homeless people around the train station, so be careful. The front desk staff were very nice and even upgraded our room. The hotel itself is quite new, but the elevator is very small. Everything else was pretty good, quite satisfied overall.
Room quite basic but gets the job done but wished they separate their body and hair wash.

The hotel is right next to the train station, just a short walk away. Super convenient!
The 24-hour front desk made me feel very secure.
The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate and well-equipped. It was very clean and promptly serviced.
The front desk staff enthusiastically explained all the details: breakfast, key card, routes to major attractions, etc. I really appreciate it!
The breakfast was fantastic! The lovely ladies on the breakfast team greeted everyone warmly, made coffee, and worked diligently and efficiently. Thumbs up!
On the last day, I left my luggage at the hotel and picked it up in the afternoon before catching my train. When I picked up my bags, the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and even told me there was a restroom downstairs I could use. It's true that finding restrooms outside can be difficult!
Ousman, the friendly guy, suggested I write down my feelings and share them with others, just writing whatever came to mind. I think he's right; others might need honest information. I spent some time choosing a hotel before I came, and it seems I made the right choice.
Thanks again, I really enjoyed this trip! 😀😀

Cjoy was by far the best and most value-for-money hotel I booked on this trip! The price was really affordable, and it's only about a 5-8 minute walk from the train station. The hotel facilities are very new, and the room size is decent – even the economy room had plenty of space to open up two 26-inch suitcases. The breakfast was incredibly rich with a variety of food, drinks, and fruits to choose from. If I ever come back to Foshan, I'll definitely be staying here again!

The hotel's location is super convenient. You can take the light rail directly from the airport and it drops you off right at the street corner in front of the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around, and it's within walking distance to the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral.
The room itself was very clean, with a large window that provided excellent ventilation.
Breakfast was fantastic – simple yet delicious, and the coffee was really good too.
The only downside was the air conditioning, which made a bit of noise.

The room was a decent size, nothing special, and the building itself was a typical old Florentine structure. The staff's attitude was so-so, probably due to cost pressures, as they tried to upsell me to a higher room category at check-in. Breakfast was alright.

Facilities: Mostly complaints:
1. The standard 14 sqm room was definitely misrepresented. We stayed at a hotel in Milan later where a 15 sqm room felt much, much more spacious. There's no harm in a little comparison.
2. The bedside table was literally just a block of wood – you read that right, not even a small shelf, just a block. There wasn't even enough space for two phones to charge.
3. The electric kettle had a large plastic lining and was broken. Luckily, we always bring our own portable one when traveling.
4. The room had a lingering smell of cleaning products, and when the heating was turned on at night, there was also a distinct smell coming from the air ducts.
5. The sink faucet wouldn't shut off completely and kept leaking.
Location: It's about a 100-meter walk from the nearest train station exit, just around the corner across the street. The location is truly convenient, especially for those staying in Florence and planning day trips to other Tuscan cities by train. This is a big plus.
Service: The front desk staff immediately pushed for a room upgrade (to a 22 sqm superior room). After politely declining multiple times, we were told we couldn't check in until after 3 PM, but if we upgraded, we could check in immediately. We were also asked to pay the city tax right away (which is fine, but it was strange as all our other hotels in Rome, Venice, and Milan collected it upon checkout). However, the breakfast was absolutely excellent! After enduring several days of hotels in Rome offering no hot food at all, having hot scrambled eggs, bacon, and stir-fried vegetables was pure bliss. Plus, the breakfast menu changed daily, and we enjoyed it thoroughly for all five days of our stay.
Overall: The location, breakfast, and value for money allow me to give it 5 stars, which somewhat compensates for the shortcomings in the room type, cleanliness, and facilities.

Stayed here for a business trip. The breakfast was really good, with lots of savory options perfect for Chinese palates. The hotel environment is also nice. However, the pricing on the platform is a bit confusing. You can't book multiple rooms at once. I booked three rooms; two with breakfast included and one without. There were four of us in total, so one person still had to pay an extra 12 euros for breakfast. I forgot to take photos, so I'm just uploading three landscape pictures to earn some points back.
