Palazzo Roselli Cecconi

At arrival we waited for minutes onto the street with our luggage but the was there was no one to open the gate. We shout and there was someone from another shop wgho could open the gate. The hotel is on the second floor of a building but upon arrival at the reception there was nobody, only a paper with an telephone. I tried to call the number but no one ansered the phone. Finally someone appeared. The elevtor to reach the hotel is a very old lift with flapping doors so it's a real hassle to use when you have to put luggage in or out. Even with shopping bags in your hands it's a hassle. At 08:00 there shouls be breakfast, but it was not there before 08:15 and the breakfast is not what i would call breakfast; only a croissant a cup of fruit and jam that was it. Service is very poor! Rooms are ok but there are no plugs at the desk!

What a hidden gem. Absolutely charming, extremely clean, I did arrive late at night and it was very easy to access my room after the reception was closed. The room had every amenity and it was absolutely lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here during my birthday celebration in Tuscany. It had an elegant boutique hotel vibe that was also historic and charming. The hotel staff were overall pleasant and welcoming. The gentleman assigned to the front desk was helpful but also had a quirky personality, particularly when a question was asked of him as his facial expressions were somewhat puzzling. Parking is outsourced to a third party garage service so it took some time for our rental car to be picked up and then brought back to us. Fortunately, the palazzo’s location was conveniently located close to key sights and restaurants. We enjoyed walking all around Florence. Our room was very clean and had elegant and historic touches but also needed some minor sprucing up as we noticed the white curtains were torn. The housekeeping staff person was very thorough in cleaning our room. The continental breakfast was adequate with coffee, espresso, juice, pastries and fruit with no savory items. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again if we’re in the area.

Very quaint little hotel in Florence. We had tower suite which includes about a 2 story climb up to outside rooftop space. Rooms are on the second floor of the building, with elevator access. Nice clean room, pleasant and helpful staff. Would return.

This property is unique in that the "hotel" is one floor of the building and the rest are residence. Its nice in that is older well constructed look with wood floors, marble, etc. The room was clean but they had a mosquito issue that was quite bothersome. We were there for only one evening. The person working there - was the only one - was nice, helpful but seemed a bit overwhelmed. Overall, it was fine nothing bad, but nothing to write home about.

Staff was excellent, room was clean and nice. It was quiet street from square . We liked it , however there is tiny elevator only 2 people can fit in it and otherwise you have to take really steep step for 4 flight of stairs, so if you are not good shape or you don’t want to take a stairs, you might consider other hotels.

This hotel is well located for a visit to Florence. Large rooms, a wonderful bathtub (what's not to like!) and a nice breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Some notes; although it wasn't a major drama, something was wrong with the airconditioning in our room so rather than be able to control it from inside our room they had to override it at the front desk. This was a bit of a hassle but it all worked out. Also, although it was nice to have an American outlet in the bathroom, it didn't work. None of this detracted from the quality of our stay, hence the 5-star rating, they were just notable items. I'd definitely stay here again.

A small but beautiful room in a historic building. The staff were exceptional with arranging taxis. dinner reservations and just general knowledge. They really strove to help us in every way.

The staff were great and very friendly and the room generally was modern and clean. Breakfast was also fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the location as it was a short walk to most attractions. What really let it down was the black mould on the bathroom on the grout, silicon and metal. The bathroom smelt disgusting and we had to have the door closed the whole time. The shower was a dreadful experience and my partner normally showers every morning as well as every night but went with nightly instead to avoid the shower as much as she could. The hotel staff were aware of the mould and said it takes a while to clean because of the sauna function of the shower. If it’s that much of an issue I would remove that function and retile in large format tiles instead of small tiles. It was a real health issue to be trapped in a shower with mould everywhere. The smell was also meant to be a pressure issue with the river which seemed strange. I also need to sleep with a window open or I find it hard to sleep. The aircon had a setting where it doesn’t work if a window is open. So I chose to sweat it out and lay on top of the sheets to sleep so I had fresh air rather than aircon. The staff kindly as a good will gesture covered the city tax because of our experience. Exit mould and properly cleaning the shower during our 3 night stay would’ve been better. The cleaners attempted to clean it every day apparently but nothing changed. I was happy to leave and I wouldn’t stay again
