Very disappointing hotel and definitely not 4-star. Hotel is quite run down, in desperate need of updating. Our bathroom had a very strong mold smell. The gym had almost no equipment. Some of the breakfast food was inedible (scrambled eggs were burnt and smelled awful). The location is very nice and the hotel has plenty of potential to become a 4-star hotel, but only with a very substantial renovation. 3-star at best.

The staff at the hotel and at the restaurant were welcoming, amd very keen. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The food was good and the location was everything we were after. Great experience.

The hotel is beautiful outside, very modern inside. The rooms are very ordinary, but good bed and quiet. Nothing special to say, but no reason to come back either.

A good spot in a great town. I wanted to like it more, the suite was very large for France and the bathroom was updated but still only okay. Barbizon is a great town when you don’t want to be in Paris and Fountainbleu is quite nearby.

Cette expérience fut un véritable ÉCHEC. Le spa est minable et insalubre (moisissure, peinture décollé, etc.). Après notre massage on a eu le droit à un thé servi dans un couloir. Le restaurant était catastrophique : tout était surgelé (on nous a d’ailleurs donné du pain encore congelé, incroyable) pour un menu à 58 euros. Établissement à éviter absolument.

Je vais commencer par l'hôtel, l'aspect extérieur en façade et par le parking pas très engageant, la chambre occupée est très correcte en dehors de la salle de bains qui est petite et d'un autre âge. Il manque la petite éponge pour les chaussures, la bouteille de gel douche vide, deux dans la chambre une seule tisane, pas de place pour poser un ordinateur. Pour le petit-déjeuner le premier jour pas d'assiette, pas de lait, peu de choix de confiture, la machine à café que l'on ne voit plus dans aucun hôtel et ça pour 20€, en réalité ça vaut 12€ pas plus. Quant au restaurant c'est fabuleux. Une partie des plats de la carte sont indisponible, nous commandons deux verre de vin blanc et rouge la serveuse revient pour dire qu'ils ne sont pas disponible, on amène deux tranches de baguette de pain dont une complètement sèche. Le plat de poisson pas mauvais mais mal présenté et le summum est pour le dessert, le fondant au chocolat, enfin ce qu'il en reste est éparpillé dans l'assiette et la serveuse nous dit "le chef s'excuse le fondant s'est écroulé au démoulage" je n'ai pas su quoi répondre ! Pour plat+dessert 45€ c'est scandaleux ça vaut tout au plus 25€. Il parait que l'hôtel va être complètement rénové, il en a vraiment besoin mais surtout pensez à recruter du personnel formé et changez absolument de cuisinier. Cet hôtel a 4* parce qu'il possède une piscine, un spa et un service de soins corporel sans tout ça il n'aurait jamais eu 4* mais tout juste 3*.

De nombreux points à améliorer - un rafraîchissement global - les nappes du restaurant pas repassées - les pommeaux de douche à décrasser (calcaire, avec les jets d’eau qui partent dans tous les sens) - les vitres pas nettes Par contre , le personnel très sympathique et accueillant, l’emplacement idéal avec un parking, les plats du restaurant très appréciés
