We stayed at the Brambletye Hotel for 3 nights at the end of May 2024 and there were a few things we noticed that dampened the experience a bit. Firstly, the restaurant/bar was closed for the duration of our stay and, despite looking, we couldn't find anything announcing that on their website. Even inside the hotel itself stated that the restaurant would be closed for breakfast, but didn't clarify that it was also closed for supper. I'm assuming there was an issue of some kind, maybe reno related. Not the end of the world, but a little warning would've been appreciated. The room itself was very clean overall. The comforter inside the duvet cover was heavily stained yellow with age and use, so I would recommend they purchase new ones. The bathroom, while clean, could do with some updated grout and caulking as it is also heavily stained and makes the room look dirty. As a more personal note, we did not find the bed to be very comfortable. It was stiff and hard, and the pillows were quite flat. All in all, it's a charming little property that just needs a few updates to really make it shine
