We were erroneously booked into this hotel by our travel company. Once upon a time this hotel could’ve been glorious but we found it to be tired/poorly maintained and not what we have come to expect from a 4* experience. Although we speak fluent Italian we didn’t find the staff friendly or engaging. This was a disappointment for us as we love to spend time with locals. Our first impressions were of a guest patio area that was poorly maintained with drained pools and patio chairs/tables that were dirty and unwelcoming. The corridor to our room was dark and gloomy. Our room (room 104) in terms of quality of accommodation, maintenance and cleaning was the worst we have experienced in 50+ years of extensive international travel. In our bathroom we experienced tired/rusty/limescale deposits to fittings, mouldy ceilings and grouts, crazed glazing to our hand wash basin, a rusty stool and lighting that was non functional. The bedroom area was dusty and the window drapes so thin that sleeping past 5am impossible due to light ingress into the room. Our room view was terrible .. a view across a green tin roof towards an overgrown/untidy patch of waste ground. We were half board and found the evening meal arrangements ridiculous - we were expected to walk along a dark lane to a beach bar ( that was undergoing renovations at the time of our visit). The bar was noisy and food quality and overall experience very limited (two menu choices per evening ) not exactly 4* Whilst we only stayed two nights, we find that we are unable to recommend this hotel based on our experiences.

We were lucky enough to stay for a week at this wonderful boutique hotel. From the second we walked in we were made to feel like family- all the staff were so friendly and helpful but a special shout-out has to go to Helena (bar manager) and Ricardo (night manager) who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. We were given an upgrade to a sea view room and we had a fantastic view across the beautiful gardens to the ocean (which is only a couple of minutes walk). The hotel is well situated being near a bus stop which allows you to travel the island for a couple of euros. There are a few small shops in the square below the hotel where you can get fairly priced souvenirs and gelato. The hotel is well laid out - the breakfast room is large enough for all the guests and there is a really good selection of food and drinks- fresh fruit, cereals, boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cheese, ham, bread, jams and cakes and pastries. The rooms are very comfortable and extra pillows are available if you ask. The windows have shutters which close out any external noise and we slept comfortably all week. There are 2 outdoor pools - one which is heated and feels like you are stepping into a warm bath. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The evening meals are served in a restaurant across the road(a 2 minute walk) which we enjoyed very much - with a warm welcome every evening. Highly recommended.

This oasis of quietness in October of 2023 is just what we needed for celebrating some couple times. This quaint hotel and amazing Thermal pools were beyond our expectations of cleanliness and friendliness. We loved their sunset drink special with heavy hors d'oeuvres which was exceptional & replaced dinner. The breakfast had a lot of varieties of breads & fruit. We were very fond of Renalto and the other folks who showed us great hospitality and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There were great restaurants within walking distance as well as a free beach. We were able to easily walk to Forio, Italy to explore the town. The staff was amazing with any thing we needed including setting up a massage at a nearby health wellness center. We were thrilled to also meet many new friends at the hotel.

We were really worried about staying here after the poor review but we needn't have been. It was lovely! We had a lovely room overlooking the sea and it was clean with plenty of hot water and comfy beds. Breakfast was buffet style and a little haphazardly laid out but on the whole suited us fine. There was some cooked along with boiled eggs. Bread, cheese, meat and lots and lots of cake and some pastries. Not everyone spoke good English but we seemed to get by. The staff were cheery and friendly. The pools are like a bath and actually a bit too warm for me but it made a change! We had the half board option at Molo 11. It was nice enough but a bit of variety would have been nice. The people were lovely and we were always full up. The wine was very expensive and we didn't like the local red so we just didn't bother!

We had a 5 star experience in Hotel Punta Imperatore. The building is lovely, rooms are clean and the pool are is excellent with multiple different size pools and thermal options. We also enjoyed the daily aperitivo sessions before dinner with drinks, quality snacks and live music. And specially we want to thank Renato for his daily kindness and highly quality service. Perfecto!

Visited with my mum and while the hotel staff are friendly we were allocated a double bed (despite advanced notice) which we had to get split and the food was dire. Same breakfast cake out all week, and not enough food to cater for number of people in hotel; evening meal (which was at the restaurant across the road) minimal and basic. Again staff very friendly but only two choices of prima and secondi courses and portions noticeably smaller than diners from other hotels/walk ins. Would not recommend

My 2 girlfriends and I went to Italy and stayed at this gem of a hotel. It's an older hotel, but very charming, close to the water, restaurants, the bus stop and some shopping. The star at this hotel is the customer service. Everyone was very quick to assist us on every request. The front desk gal had only been employed for a week and she was super sweet and helpful. Breakfast was included in our plan and it was better than we had anticipated. The croissants were baked fresh and there was something for everyone. We really loved the mineral pool and stayed in it for 4 hours one day. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

The staff is very attentive, pleasant & professional. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. We had the water view balcony with a spectacular view, the gardens are well maintained & kept clean. It is situated in a quiet area. The thermal pool was at optimum temperature, the therapeutic waterfall shower was very pleasant.

Stayed here for a week at the start of July. Had a room for the four of us towards the front of the grounds with a spacious balcony/terrace and a nice sea view. Staff were always polite and helpful. Wide selection of foods (pastries, fruit, cereals) for breakfast which was outdoors on a large shaded terrace. We had lunch every day in the poolside restaurant - menu was fairly limited but the food was great and the prices given the portion sizes were excellent value. Antonio was a great help here, making pasta especially for the kids and going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel has two swimming pools (thermal water) which make a nice alternative to the beach. Seaside is a five minute walk away. Hotel has discounts with several restaurants nearby for dinner - recommend Il Galeone. The main aspect that could be improved is how the hotel communicates its offerings. There were a number of additional benefits that staff were not aware of when asked or we discovered by chance speaking to other guests (e.g. a second pedestrian access way at the opposite end to the car park, a tap for washing sand off your feet to the right of the lobby, a service for lending beach umbrellas) - a better job could be done to inform guests, possibly upon checking in, off all the services they can avail of. Overall, had a very good time and would recommend
