Holiday Inn Express & Suites FORNEY by IHG

Spent a nice time

I go to check in, and I see a note by front desk that the pool is closed. Nothing wrong with it, but roof being worked on so It’s closed for safety reasons. We have stayed at this hotel 3x now bc of softball tournaments and have been looking forward to cooling off in the pool after being in the sun all day. Last weekend being first time pool would be open. Then- we’re on the 2nd floor- but no ice machine bc the ceiling has fallen through, and there’s debris everywhere. So have to go up a floor to even get ice. Roaches on main floor and stairwell. Gross. And a part of our ceiling in our room was probably about to fall through too, from the looks of the water ring. Hopefully I can attach pictures

We didn’t have any complaints during our stay. We arrived very late, around 4 AM, due to flight delays, and initially had a few issues with check-in. However, the manager quickly resolved everything and made the process much smoother. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, and they even extended our checkout time, which we really appreciated after such a long travel day. The pool was closed, but that wasn’t an issue for us since we weren’t planning to use it anyway. Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay.

Love it! Holiday inn make us a peaceful place and good spirits because of Bible still there in the hotel. I will be back there next year October 2007

The front desk associate was very friendly. The room was really nice and clean. Only thing was that we didn’t have wash cloths or hand towels. But overall it was a very nice stay.

All the staff was extremely friendly. I dropped my phone unloading and returned from room to look for it. Went to front desk and it was returned to me after being able to provide details of phone physical description and lockscreen picture. Be Gold In my bathroom the shower head had no solid fixture and was just hanging from shower curtain. I dont know if the difference is being a gold member and being in 4th floor like my friend because his was on a solid fixture.

I reserved a room with two beds , they didn't keep my request, very unorganized place. Not sure I will come back to this place

This is by far the WORST customer care by the site manager and her team! She was extremely rude and unprofessional after a staff member who had checked me in two hours prior, came busing in my room door while I was in bed!!!!!!!!! On top of the experience, I had to pay to be treated as such.

Room was nice. Except they have my double bed room away and forced 1 of us to sleep on the floor.
