beautiful surroundings,pod was very clean and had everything we could need,was very peaceful.well situated to access lots of different places.would definately recommend it

We recently stayed at Macbeth’s Hillock as a family with our son and dog, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The location is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a proper break from busy day-to-day life. It felt safe and spacious for our son to enjoy, and having such lovely surroundings made it even more special. The accommodation itself was spotless, cosy, and really well thought out. Everything we needed was there, and you can tell a lot of care has gone into making it comfortable and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly it was. It made such a difference being able to bring our dog along and not have to worry—there was plenty of space for walks and exploring right on the doorstep. Overall, it was such a relaxing and memorable stay for all of us. We would highly recommend Macbeth’s Hillock to families and anyone looking for a peaceful escape, and we’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Loved our visit. Friendly welcome. Surprisingly spacious (2 over 6ft adults & 2 children). Cosy. Well equipped with a small kitchen area (kettle, toaster, 2 ring hob, crockery, cutlery, 2 pans). Bathroom was larger than I expected. Shower was good. We brought our own bedding and towels but these can be provided for a few. Kids enjoyed playing football and in the sand pit. Booked pod 5 so we only had a neighbour on one side - worried the kids wouldn’t be quiet enough in the morning! Didn’t make use of the wee shop but it looked to have a lot of useful supplies. Enjoyed the fire pit. Very lucky with the weather we had during our visit. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

This place was very lovely. Very quiet and private. Super clean and the owner communicated very well over message. The only downside was that the website did not state you have to pay extra for pillows, bed sheets, and towels. For travelers that don’t bring this stuff be prepared to pay extra on top of the cost. Other than that the place was very nice. Wi-Fi only works outside the pod too unless you are staying in one of the closer pods like pod 1 or 2.

Great location for Inverness & Moray Coast! I had meetings in Inverness but didn’t want to stay in the city. This is such a beautiful location & the cabin (Pod 4) was absolutely perfect. I paid for the extra bedding & it was great to come into a cozy bed for the night. The pod was very well equipped. I’ll definitely be staying again!

This was, I think, my 6th trip to Macbeth's Hillock and it's always a real pleasure and a breath of fresh air to go back. Karen & George always make us feel really welcome, the the glamping pods is a real delight to stay in. The firepit is also a great bonus! Coming home afterwards always feels somewhat of a let-down, so I'm looking forward very much to heading back as soon as I can! I couldn't recommend Macbeth's Hillock more highly.

We were initially very tensed as we are going to Europe for first time. Communicated with the owners (Karen & George), they were very friendly and eased our anxiety. Karen met us after we checked-in and she was very friendly and helpful. My wife and daughter liked the glamping area very much, its safe. I highly recommend if you are planning for a trip to Loch Ness and need a small private atmosphere.

Fantastic- what a lucky find. Such a cleverly designed cabin with a kitchen and full bathroom and sleeping for 4. Immaculately clean. Everything in the kitchen you need, pots and pans, crockery /cutlery etc. Even deck chairs for everyone. There's a huge space for children to play on lovely soft grass. Fantastic location too, a short drive from Nairn and we went up to Findhorn which is also nearby. Intwresting history about the hillock, too. We were delighted with our stay, thanks so much.
