Ocean Manor Beach Resort

Did not get what I expected. Bathroom was moldy tiny fridge in room Beds were small mattresses were like an air mattress sheets did not get changed maid turned comforter over so the salsa wouldn’t show that got spilt wouldn’t show When I told the front desk I was disappointed in my room and it wasn’t what I booked they told me they had a wedding but if I got with them Sunday at noon they would take care of me. So in other words I got down sized so they could take care of a wedding I did get a small upgrade. The private beach was very dirty They had a bouncer that was very rude but was very attentive to the wedding party Not a kid friendly resort due to having to walk through the tiki bar to get to pool or beach area bad enough the customers are drunk and using foul language but when the help uses foul language I draw the line. My sister came to visit her front end of her car got ripped off by another vehicle but it was supposed to be valet parking only No ice machines. When electricity went out there was no staff helping customers down the stairs showing them where to go we were totally lost going down a dark filthy stairwell I could go on and on about how disappointed I was about the stinky filthy hole of a resort we stayed at but I think my point has been made For now on I will spend my money on an Airbnb and go to the public beach

Great Location  You have to pay $18 a day to park plus a resort tax of $16  a day which a joke.  Food and drink over priced. Rooms all out of date and need updating  Hallways  and passages smelt of ****.  Rooms all need soundproof I had to have my room changed due to this.  Staff were helpful but I will not pay for a service that comes free at other hotels.

We only booked because this hotel has a walk out to the beach off the back end... Well, let me tell you.. We found a gem that we will visit as much as possible. It was perfectly described as a resort.. Not only does it have a walk out onto the beach, it has the ONLY Tiki Bar on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. There is superb food (and I am a critic!) and the service.. wow .. lets give a shout out to Marcy, she was our breakfast on the beach server and she was amazing.. had coffee ready really early to watch the sunrise with. I would recommend this to families, couples, and group as they have all the amenities you could need. There's a high end Italian restaurant, outstanding Spa, cutesy little shop and so much more.... it was amazing. I cannot say enough amazing things.

Great location, very friendly staff and would highly recommend. We are staying again this weekend and stayed last year too. Will definitely be back!!
