La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Ft. Lauderdale Tamarac East

Location was beautiful & the room was to my liking but I absolutely believe that my experience could’ve been better. Before booking, I called to confirm if early check-in at 6:00 a.m. was available and was told it could be accommodated for an additional fee. I booked through Trip.com based on that information. When I arrived around 6:00 a.m., the front desk agent, Keisha, was extremely unwelcoming and nonchalant. After explaining that I had called ahead, there was no compassion, no apology and no effort to help. Had I known this, I would have stayed elsewhere. It wasn’t until I started calling other hotels to accommodate me that she finally decided to check room availability. She made it up in the last but After a long flight, this was very disappointing; especially for my first stay. If you have an early flight and your reservation does not have a “early check in” note, go elsewhere! Chances are less that I will return. Service: 1/10 Rooms: 8/10 Overall experience 7/10

The check in and service staff were fantastic. Unfortunately it's a dated property and I was quite grossed out by the carpet in the room. I walked around bare foot in the room, when I got in the shower - I could see how much dirt I had collected from the carpet ;-/ Needs a good steam cream or even better a carpet replacement. Also there seems to be no hand soap provided.

Mold in 3 different rooms. Front desk clerk was helpful but the hotel itself, worst la Quinta ive ever seen.

Decent brand. Clean, no frills. Bed dips in the middle. Covers and pillow were comfy. Breakfast was mediocre. Coffee and hot water were lukewarm.

Rooms were clean and staff was excellent DeJay (I think that’s his name) he went above and beyond to make my stay there a pleasant one

Improve the furniture in the room as well as ensure the fixtures are properly installed. In the suite the hot water was the cold water

Things have gone downhill since covid. There policy is that your room isn't cleaned until you've been there for three nights and then you have to request it . The breakfast was fair but nothing to write home about. They have a pool but no chairs around it. I'm not sure that I will stay there again.

The tub water takes a while to drain out, the lighting in the room poor,the face basin fossils water was just dripping
