Motel 6 Fort Lauderdale, FL

This is the worst. This is not a place to take a child. My flight was suddenly canceled, so I had to find a place to stay near the airport in a hurry. The hallways were damp, and the lights in the room and above the bathroom kept flickering. I clearly confirmed and booked a non-smoking room, but the room reeked of cigarettes. It said it had a window, but the window was glass and couldn't be opened. The lack of ventilation made the smell even worse, and the bed sheets were unclean. I asked to change rooms because my child needed to sleep, but they simply refused, saying there were no more rooms available. Later, other guests checked in. Trip.com even advertised this room as a non-smoking/windowed room, and I was infuriated that they charged me over $180 for it. I really don't recommend this. I couldn't even sleep properly.
