Holiday Inn Express & Suites WEST POINT-FORT MONTGOMERY by IHG

Pro: 5 mins from West Point front gate. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff was nice. Checkin was simple and she was so helpful. Con: Guest would smoke out outside (bench and trash area was located next to the front door) which would make the lobby smell like a strong cigarette smell. They only had King bed/pull out available; the pullout duvet had a huge stain on it. We didn’t use it. Good thing we brought our kids their own blankets.

Good deal for a 2 queen bed sized. Breakfast included is also a plus with hot meals such as sausage, egg as well as pancakes.

Clean comfortable room. The only problem was the breakfast! The sausage was way overdone. The eggs were also over cooked and bland.

Beds were comfortable. Loved the sitting area. Only thing that needs improvement is lighting by the door. Very dark.

Staff was great, room door giggled ( not tight), room by outside side door-noisy, room across from housekeeping-noisy, farthest away from wifi-slow, breakfast ok--pancakes run out, orange juice ran out, pillows great, decent TV, close to town and West Point.
