The Calile Hotel

Stayed at the end of trip to the Sunshine Coast. The hotel is situated in a great area of Brisbane but overall service wasn’t the best. We ate the Greek restaurant first night but couldn’t hear each other at dinner due to the construction noise outside. Hotel staff didn’t seem to care about it. Working in the industry I know the hotel was informed of this activity. But guests were not informed. I complained but the mangager was too busy to see me at reception. If I had known about the construction I would have made the reservation. Pool was overcrowded every day. Acoustics between room and corridor and terrace very poor. When someone operates the blinds you can hear and when they are on the phone in the terrace you can hear the calls. If you use the glassware or cups. You have to call reception to have them replaced otherwise when the room is cleaned they just take them away. The location is good though with good choices for other F&B venues so you don’t have to eat at the hotel!

The stay was incredible, down to the food, room and staff service. I, however, will not be returning as I do not wish to pay so much money to fight people over pool space. I shouldn't have to choose between a nice sleep in and utilising the pool (hello 5:45am wake up time to get a spot). The Calile need to manage this better and have a policy in place that allows more guests to access this given the limited room.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ my favourite hotel in Brisbane

Enjoyed staying at the Calile. The area is vibrant with lots of high-end shops and wonderful restaurants. The lobby has a very laid back vibe, with soft music and soothing colors. The rooms are wonderfully designed and large enough to make an extended stay enjoyable. My only complaint would be that the pool has a TOTALLY different vibe from the rest of the hotel, with DJ music blasting all the time. Lots of people were enjoying this, but I would have appreciated a place to relax in the sun without the loud beats.

Room is clean, staffs are very friendly and patient, location is good, nearby has many shops and restaurants. Enjoyed my stay very much

This is a really hard property to review. The property is designed for young couples who are ready to party. We stayed on a Friday night and I found the whole precinct very loud with lots of drunken yelling not really my thing we wouldn’t stay again but looking back the room was lovely. The area was lovely. The restaurant was fantastic for me. It was just the drunken youths on a weekend noisily spoiling the hotel

I’ve booked to stay here about 7 times since opening and it never disappoints. Super clean, super chic, super everything! Love the food, the poolside, the service. Feels like I’m in another country always. My favourite getaway when I want to chill, enjoy good food and lots of shopping
