The hotel is generally clean, tidy, and quiet. It's a 10-minute walk to Story Bridge, which offers amazing night views, and there are many great bars along the river. Next to the hotel, there's a liquor store where you can buy water cheaper than at the hotel. Just across the road, there's a King Arthur Cafe with a good breakfast. Definitely recommended! Also, Brisbane city center is currently undergoing infrastructure construction, but this hotel is relatively less affected, with no construction at night and work starting around 6:30 AM.

Unfortunately construction on other side of road which we were not informed of at time of booking so woke at 6:38am on Saturday to constant banding. Stayed with friends who were woken after midnight by someone entering their room. Reception checked another person into room they were sleeping in and no apologies provided, make sure you wear PJs!

The hotel staff gave access to our room to someone else who then entered at 12.30am on Saturday morning. Friday nights sleep wasn't great as every sound woke us up after that. Then the construction across the road started at 6.30am so overall Friday night was just terrible. They apologised and said they'd look into what happened but we haven't heard from them. When they have one job to do and can't do that it is VERY disappointing. Also concerning for people's safety and belongings.
