We sincerely apologise for the elevator being out of order during your stay- we understand how much of an inconvenience this was to our guests. With the frequent use of the staircase now, we understand that the standard has not been up to par. We will be addressing this with our housekeeping team as a priority, as well as the cleanliness standard of your pod once you checked in. It is not the standard we aim for, and we’ll be reinforcing our cleaning procedures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Regarding the ventilation, your comfort is very important to us, and we’ll be checking the airflow systems to make sure everything is functioning properly.On a positive note, we’re glad you found the hangout and cooking area cozy and that our staff made a good impression — we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to them. Response from Property: Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review — we really appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear there were aspects of your stay you enjoyed, including the comfort of the pod, soundproofing, secure lockers, and the patio area.We’re sorry for the confusion and inconvenience you experienced on arrival. Our reception is staffed 24 hours, however we understand it can feel unclear if staff are briefly away from the desk. We’re glad the intercom allowed us to assist you quickly, but we’ll continue working on making this process as seamless as possible for guests arriving at any time.We also appreciate your comments regarding the facilities. There are microwaves located in the kitchen under the stovetop benches, and the self-service beer wall is available for use, with assistance always just a phone call away — we’ll look at how we can make this clearer for guests.Regarding bedding, during the warmer months we provide a flat sheet as standard due to the Queensland climate, with additional blankets or duvets always available free of charge from reception upon request. Towels are provided for shower use.We sincerely apologise for the ants — this can be a seasonal challenge, particularly during summer, but it’s something we actively manage and continue working to minimise with our housekeeping team.
