Definitely worth a stay in this city., lucky to got an upgrade to this room. at my arrival~ The bed is comfy, with both soft and harder pillow being provided. The breakfast comes with a fantastic range of choice, even have wontun noodles and congees freshly made for customers. I also love that they had vanity kits prepared for ladies. Overall, i think it’s a must-stay hotel if you have just the right amount of budget! A good hotel really ease a lot of worries and make my trip perfecto 😍 That said, i wish a foldable mirror could be provided so i don’t have to do my makeup in the bathroom😭

The service was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. From the hotel balcony, you can see Zumiao Temple and Lingnan Tiandi. In the evening, I also watched the musical "Chimera" at the Qionghua Grand Theater across the street. The location is excellent, with attractions within walking distance.

Hotel stay was great. Room was spacious and clean. Superb location and had a smooth check in process assisted by a gentleman called Sivan at reception.

A heartfelt thank you to Remy, the housekeeper, for her customer-centric service and diligent, hardworking attitude! I arrived at the hotel on Saturday, July 11th, at 12:30 PM. The front desk informed me that my room wouldn't be ready until 2 PM. I understood and took my room card, planning to drop off my luggage and then go for lunch. Around 1 PM, while I was in the uncleaned room, sending messages, a housekeeper, who I later learned was Remy, passed by my door with her cart. Upon seeing me, she immediately stopped and, concerned, said, "This room hasn't been cleaned yet! I need to go eat now, or there won't be any food left in the cafeteria." I quickly replied, "It's okay, you go eat first!" However, she had barely pushed her cart away for a few minutes when she returned, saying, "I'll clean your room first. I feel bad seeing a guest waiting in an uncleaned room. I can just ask my colleagues to save some food for me." She then meticulously and quickly changed the sheets, tidied the bed, and completed the cleaning. I personally witnessed Remy's dedicated, responsible, and proactive service, and I was deeply moved. I would like to extend my sincerest thanks and express my respect to her.

Appreciated the great services provided by Daniel. He has well prepared for our request before arrival. Smooth check in and check out, all staff are friendly and we comfortable stay.

I stayed at the Cordis for 5 days and got to experience many of the hotel's facilities and interacted with many of its staff. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Foshan cultural center. It's steps away from the Ancestral Temple and other cultural sites. Near the hotel are also many food options, dessert stalls, and malls that fit the western and Chinese taste. At the hotel, we saw many foreign as well local Chinese visitors. My mandarin is very limited and my experience is that the hotel staff was well-equipped with fluent English and Cantonese to serve my needs.  The front desk staff was phenomenal. As we entered, we were greeted warmly by Cheryl and Mandy at the front desk. I had some questions upon check in and both were very patient answering them even though the front desk area was busy. Cheryl offered us a room with a view of the Ancestral Temple which I really appreciated. They also offered additional information I did not know to ask to make my stay in Foshan much more enjoyable. After checking into the room, I found a small, non-urgent problem with the shower. When I went back downstairs to go out, Cheryl noticed me from afar and had a good guess I may have a problem with the room. After I explained the problem to her, she immediately called someone to address the issue right away. Later in the stay, we had some other questions for the front desk staff. Winnie and Johnny were also incredibly helpful and friendly to help when we had questions about breakfast packages and transportation.  The rooms are a bit smaller compared to other hotel rooms we had stayed in in China. However, the layout is very functional and design is well thought out. The balcony was a nice feature we really appreciated.  Finally, the breakfast buffet was wonderfully done. It had abundant amount of options in both Western and Chinese style foods. The quality of food is also good. The omelette and sausage were done well while the Chinese congee was delicious. We again saw many foreign and local Chinese guests at the restaurant and everyone seems to be enjoying the food like I was. 

Facilities: Clean and well-maintained. Hygiene: Spotless. Environment: Overlooks a popular commercial district. Service: Attentive and prompt.

We paid for an extra bed, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite for free, which was so thoughtful. This meant all three of us got a fantastic rest. The suite was spacious and had a balcony, and Lingnan Tiandi was right downstairs. From the balcony, you could even see the Huang Feihong Memorial Hall, which was a short walk from the hotel's back entrance. The location was super convenient for getting around!

The location is superb, it's the closest hotel to Lingnan Tiandi. This time, I stayed in a room on the north side facing Renshou Temple. It's currently undergoing major renovations, but I can imagine that once it's finished, the view of the golden roof might even be better than the rooms facing Zumiao Temple. The welcome gift was exquisite and had a nice local touch.

Shirley, the front office manager, was very kind and provided excellent service. The hotel's facilities and decor all showcased Cantonese elements. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

For the past few years, whenever I've visited Foshan, I've stayed at Cordis. It's so conveniently located, close to everything, and there are tons of great food options nearby. The connecting rooms for our family of four were fantastic, and both rooms came with balconies. The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly nice, and the hotel breakfast was pretty good too.

I was genuinely surprised by the high standard of Cordis! For the price, the hotel's facilities and room size are really excellent. The staff, from the front desk to the bellhops, were all incredibly warm and attentive. Our room's balcony overlooked the ancient town, and we could even hear lion dances and drum performances! It really gave us that authentic Foshan feeling. My husband went to the sauna and said it was very comfortable, while I enjoyed a bath in the room! The design style is modern Lingnan, which unexpectedly reminded me of 'The Bund' in Shanghai! I absolutely love it and have recommended this hotel with its amazing value for money to all my friends. I adore Foshan, and Cordis provided an exceptionally wonderful experience!

I was initially worried the hotel might be a bit old since it's been open for a while, but after checking in, I found it had been renovated and is a very standard five-star hotel. The room size was just right, and the location is excellent. From the balcony, you can overlook Zumiao Temple and Lingnan Tiandi, making it super convenient to go downstairs and walk around anytime! The staff were also enthusiastic and polite. When I called housekeeping for towels and a pen, they arrived incredibly fast, within 2 minutes. To maintain this level of service quality during the Dragon Boat Festival, with such a large crowd, I think it's an outstanding hotel! Plus, the price wasn't expensive, and the hotel voucher even included a free extra bed, which for us as a family, made it feel like incredibly good value for money. Absolutely recommended!
