Chuanlord Holiday Hotel

This was my second stay at Changlu, and I was hoping for a perfect end to the pre-summer holiday. Unfortunately, we ran into bad weather. My first visit was in a cave room, but it was fully booked this time, so we opted for a lake-view room. It had a lovely, rustic farmhouse vibe, which was also very nice. Right across from our room, we could see gibbons—or at least I think they were gibbons—and they even put on a show for us! The front desk offers luggage delivery service, and they brought our bags all the way to our room. The only downside is that the lake-view rooms are a bit far from everything, so it’s a pretty long walk. The cleanliness has always been excellent. The room's decor was particularly charming and picturesque. I hope for better weather next time!

We were pleasantly surprised to get a free upgrade to a cave-style room with a private hot tub – it exceeded our expectations! It also included a buffet breakfast for two adults and one child. The butler service was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. They even helped us with our luggage to the room, which was quite a walk from the lobby, especially on such a hot day. A big thank you to our lovely and helpful butler! We had a great time, ate well, and slept soundly. We'll definitely be back to Changlu and book the cave room again next time!

It wasn't too hot, even in summer, as there were fans and air coolers everywhere. Lots of rides too, which made it pretty good value for money.

This hotel seriously had me cracking up! I did a quick search online after getting to my room and found out it's been open for over 20 years... 😂 The only upside was the pretty nice scenery outside~

The hotel was great, service was excellent, we had a wonderful time, and the kids were really happy. Definitely worth another visit!

The room was incredibly damp; I couldn't sleep at all. There were also bugs, and my two kids were bitten and itching all night. I reported it to the front desk, but they completely ignored me, even after I repeated twice that 'our room is really damp, and the blankets are wet.' They were very unprofessional and didn't seem to care about the company's reputation, coming across as quite self-absorbed. The breakfast buffet in the morning was terrible—hardly anything edible, and you had to walk a long way to get anything. Many items at the snack street were out of stock, and the variety was very limited. Especially the beef offal stew; it had only a few pieces of meat and was mostly radish. Overall, it wasn't fun, comfortable, or good to eat. I wouldn't recommend it.

This was our 5th time staying overnight here, and every visit confirms that you really need two days to experience everything. It's also much more cost-effective for the whole family to stay overnight. The kids even said it's more fun than Chimelong, with more rides and excellent hotel service. They immediately upgraded us for free from a king room to a twin room when they saw we were two adults and two children. Of course, that's also because I've been a Ctrip customer for over ten years – it's actually the first time in all these years I've ever received a free room upgrade from Ctrip! The hotel is clean and tidy, the park is fantastic with lots of fun things to do, and there's plenty of food available! Many thanks for their service!

Nah, this place isn't great. You can hear every conversation in the hallway, and the drain in my room was clogged. There weren't many animals to see, and honestly, not much to explore. Most things were closed by 8 or 9 PM, and it was pitch dark everywhere. Plus, there were a lot of mosquitoes. Overall, my experience wasn't good; I wouldn't recommend it.

The experience at Changlu Resort Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The environment is serene, surrounded by lush green hills and clear waters. Staying in a lake-view room felt like being in a Lingnan water town. The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing, and the soft bedding ensured a wonderful night's sleep. The front desk service was warm and welcoming, and they even proactively upgraded us to a quieter room type. The resort offers a rich variety of entertainment options; the Scream Park was thrilling and fun, the Animal Kingdom is perfect for kids, and the dining experience at the Floating Food Court was unique. There's also Shunde cuisine to explore nearby. Overall, it's great value for money and highly recommended for family trips or couples' getaways!
