I really like the signs and the map here—they’re so cute and funny. Someone clearly put a lot of effort into them!

This hotel is located in the town of Fox Glacier, just a 3-minute walk from the heli-hike experience store. After booking online, check-in was seamless upon arrival. The room was clean and tidy, and it was convenient to cook meals.

The staff was helpful and welcoming, the location was close to lake matheson and fox glacier viewpoint. But the walkway to bathroom was quite dark at night.

Very nice fully equipped place. The kitchen is very convenient. Unfortunately the bathroom and especially the sink isa bit small.

This is the only youth hostel on this trip, but the conditions are not bad. We booked a room with a private bathroom, one of the three rooms, and shared the kitchen and living room area. The guests were very quiet and no sound could be heard. The small kitchen was fully equipped with kitchenware, and it is said that the hotel has a larger kitchen.

It's pretty good. The cabin has a separate bathroom. There should be four rooms, sharing a living room with a kitchen. The hostel is in another room. The bed room also has a large kitchen. This small room is very cost-effective. The town of Fox is not big. There are only two or three restaurants for dinner. So, it only takes five or six minutes to walk to the fireflies. You can go and see them at night. You can see them in a few minutes.

Surprisingly good, excellent value for money, and the free bicycles are a huge plus, making it very convenient for those without a car.
