The room is really old and some items are not functional.
1. Toilet door is not able to close properly and the door is too light hence is always slamming shut
2. Aircon is too noisy
3. Clothes cabinet are also not soft close type hence is always slamming shut
4. Small things like the desk pen is not even working. The spring inside is missing hence there is no way to write anything
5. The beside side power sockets are at the wrong side of the bed … the sockets are located not on the bedside table … but at the other side where there is no table to put your items to charge
6. Toilet bowl is very dirty which you can see from my uploaded picture
Overall this hotel condition is super overpriced .. if not for the proximity to the airport .
For those savvy travellers there are much better hotels at cheaper rates than Sheraton at Kelsterbach area …

Perfect location for an overnight stay before an early morning flight. Hotel connected by covered passageway to the airport and the airport train station. Spacious rooms, express check-out, recommend.

My wife, Emily Tan, left her room at about 6 am on 25th Sep to check out and catch a 8.30 am flight to New York.
The power failed at that time and they decided to use the staircase.
However, there was no lights at all and they had to find their way using lights from their phone.
At the reception, it was chaotic as there were only 2 staff and they were overwhelmed by calls from guests as well.
It’s shocking that the emergency lighting did not come on when the power failed.
This is a serious safety hazard.

The only good thing about this hotel is next to Frankfurt Airport, the rest I’ve have no good words for it.
We were given a door key to room 9030 but not able to open it & had to go down to change it with long walks & slow lift, even the new door key we were still not able to open it & had to ask for a change of room as this room has got a different door knob then the rest on same floor & we’re not comfortable with this. The indication in this hotel is not clear at all for example took us awhile after parking the car to find out where reception area is located & took them a long time to allocated the room for us then we encountered the key issue. Don’t feel at all relaxed in this hotel🥹
