Rudan Guest House AB53 6UQ

Sadly, we only had one night at the Rudan, and weren't there for much of the daytime, but we can honestly say it's the best B and B we have experienced. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and the room was better equipped than any other including hotels. A truly wonderful home away from home and we will definitely recommend to all, and intend to go back there for longer when we can. The views from the dining room were spectacular, but the main thing was the genuine hearty welcome and the comfort of the rooms.

I stayed for one night in early November as I wanted to be conveniently close to Delgaty Castle near Turriff The Rudan Guest House is absolutely outstanding. I was made most welcome. I had a very comfortable bed and a big room. The shower and loo were spotless. To my surprise, I was told on arrival that there was yoghurt and fresh milk in a fridge and cereals if I was hungry. There was an excellent cooked breakfast in the morning. There wasn’t an evening meal (it’s a guest house) but I got one in Maud which is only 2 miles away. The friendliness and welcome is characteristic of all that is best in the NE of Scotland

We had a short stay with Sandra & John & they were very friendly and welcoming. Our room and bed were very comfortable & with tea/ coffee facilities It was just what the doctor ordered. There was soft drinks & milk in the fridge and on the dressing table a selection of goodies if you felt peckish. A full Scottish breakfast was the order of the day & a great tightner before we headed off for the day. It was very peaceful & quiet in the countryside & we hope to return in the not too distant future. Thank you so much Sandra & John xx
