I want to be clear, i did not stay overnight here, i only did the day-pass for the resort. The two employees who greeted me as i walked in, super nice. Just know you won't get an explaianation of anything as to where things are. But, you can take 90 seconds to read signs and figure it out. This place was perfect for the day. Beautiful pool with lounge chairs, private beach with lounge chairs, and a drink bar you can go to if you want. You get a towel at the towel hut, which is missing a letter in it, and just ask for a towel. I wish i got there earlier and stayed longer, was well worth it.

We really enjoyed our vacation to the Lighthouse pointe at Grand Lucayan Resort. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff were amazing! Best place for beach walking on beautiful white soft and that went on for miles. Food was very good and the chef and staff were great at accommodating food choices. Golfing was great at the nearby Reef golf course. The only downfall was the pool needs some work and daily cleaning. Daytime entertainment around the pool provided by Barry was. A lot of fun. A little more evening entertainment would by nice too. Above all we had a great time and would definitely go back.

If you are looking for an all inclusive that has a party vibe this is not the hotel for you. There is no entertainment. Also if you have children there is no children’s program or entertainment for the kids. If you are looking for somewhere that is quiet and just want to hang at the beach or pool then you may enjoy this resort. The food is nothing to write home about. Some nights it was good and some not so much. There are no al la carte restaurants. They really need to provide better variety for lunches as well. Breakfast was great. The rooms and premises were spotless. The pool was always being cleaned. Most staff were friendly and always polite. This resort could improve with just a few things: Maybe consider theme night dinners( Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Bahamian and even burger bar). Turn down the air in the lobby and provide music. Have some games that people can use. Maybe do a happy hour in the lobby. Drinks and appetizers. For lunch maybe more choices. Sandwiches over all the fried food. The salads were amazing though. Have something for the kids to do. Maybe provide colouring books and crayons on check in. Give a paper for a scavenger hunt and when complete Maybe a small prize for them. You could use a children’s playground and have sand buckets and shovels for their use. You should really have an area for the resort only patrons away from the cruisers. It seemed at times you catered more to your day passes than the ones who were spending a week. You could make this resort people would want to come back too with just a few minor changes. I had a fun time with people I met. Staff was always pleasant. Rooms were spotless. Views were amazing.

We stayed for 4 nights and we were quoted a price of $750.00 room only. I was given the receipt and that amount was held on our credit card. After we checked out and left the hotel I checked our bank and a transaction of over $1300.00 was billed not the original $750.00.

The staff were all very friendly and worked hard to insure a good experience. The breakfast buffet was varied each day and had many excellent food choices, all of which were were delicious. The fitness center and spa were clean and spacious and more like a private club than a hotel workout room. The beach was beautiful, and the infinity pool and spa are nice.

we were in the Hotel from january 13th until jan 20th. starting off we felt ripped off from them. Our plan was for all inclusive but as soon as you stay there things are a different. First day we went at lunch time to the main buffet and we were told our plan doesn't cover lunch buffer ( which it doesn't make any sense to us cause we are all inclusive. They sent us to another " restaurant at the beach " but over there was only fries , green salad , chicken nuggets, burgers and stop counting, yeah we ate every day fries and nuggets, no variety of food , nothing , always same thing, I spent $4000 for a week , at least i wanna eat good quiality food at least different food. At dinner time we only one menu with a couple things for appetizers and entrees and that's it, you basically eat the same thing at night. At the end of everything meal, and drink they bring you a recipe with 0$ for sign, at the end of EVERY drink, breakfast, lunch and dinner they bother with the sign. The pool and the hot tub are dirty, a lot of pigeon swimming and walking in the tables, and no one clean. The all inclusive only includes local drinks brands, ( not even jhonny walker red label ) basic one in a all inclusive plan . they take care mostly from the people coming everyday from the cruises 🛳 which i would assume they spend a bit extra money daily , I am having digestive issues right know because of the low quality of drinks allowed for us and same as the food , and i am 32 years old never happened to me before , i feel i threw away my money big time. Long story short : not even close to a 4 ⭐️ hotel, drinks and food the worst , too expensive for the service they offer you. i wouldn't recommend this hotelto anyone and I'll make sure this review stay here for a long time.

Upon check in did not have two ocean front rooms I had booked. Put my mother in law in a room with nonworking outside lights, alarm clock that didnt work, coffee pot that didnt work, phone that didnt work and a safe that wouldnt work. Room smelled of mold terribly. Upon check in were given arm bands that said we were on all inclusive only to find out that even though that was what i booked, we were not on that plan. We were told we could pay $100 per person (3 of us) for the three days that we were already there and $100 per day per person for the remaining two days. Service was the slowest I have ever seen in an establishment and for the most part they were rude. I will not stay here again!!!

Pros: - Calm and beautiful beach of white sand / crystal water. No rocks, no corals or see ****s. Perfect beach when sunny and not windy day. - Beautiful pools / outdoor setup (see cons) - Entertainment staff is great around the pool / beach. Drinks are good and taste alcohol - Available and free paddle board and kayaks on the beach. Nobody never let us know, we had to figure out and ask. - Gym is great. Cons: -Overall service is disappointing. Maybe we compare too much with Cuba and Mexico but we do not feel as welcome as other resorts we have visited. Is this only at the Lighthouse or all Bahamas? We do not know. Rarely someone will come to you to ask and make sure you are ok. When you go to the bar, make sure you have plenty of time in front of you. - Food / Buffet are not as good as expected which a big disappointment. No « à la carte» restaurant which we knew but because buffet aren’t as great as expected, then it’s a major downside. We even had to leave the buffet on a Saturday night to go to the Italian restaurant on the market across the street. Name of the restaurant: Cappuccino which we highly recommend. - December 2023, resort is almost empty despite the high seasons for holidays. - Pool - We haven’t seen anyone taking care of pool / SPA during the day other than early morning. Lots of cleaning required. - Rooms are disappointing. Paying for «delux » mean ocean view (which is great and recommended) but the room itself is very basic and need lots of care and investment. - Refrigerator is empty in room. - ACTIVITY - List of activities on the website aren’t up to date. Meaning that lots the are advertised aren’t longer available. E.G.: Game room, Water sport facilities on site Additional charge. - ACTIVITY - Pig tour : tourists trap. Nothing the same as the pictures you can find on internet. Beach where you are for 3 hours isn’t maintained. - Sometimes, non consistently, the staff at the buffet bring a check at 0$ to make sure they will get tip. - No store onsite to get sun cream, playing cards, … you have to go outside. The market is just on the other side of the street but when it’s pouring rain, a minimum onsite would have been appreciated. - Coffee… no real tasty coffee available at the resort. At the market on the other side of the street, you can thankfully found good one.

When we initially arrived, the staff checked us into a room that was already occupied by someone. Once we got outside, peeling paint and broken / cracked sidewalks could be found on the entire resort. From the pool area you could see a large hole in the roof of the main hotel. The outdoor bar / restaurant was not open. The lobby bar not open. Food and drinks were served inside a dingy, dirty carpeted room. The lunch buffet consisted of metal steam trays with hot dogs, hamburger, chicken nuggets and a couple of salads. The music was so loud it could make your ears bleed. The bar area was a folding card table with a couple liquor bottles and draft beer. No room for seating. The locals entered the resort from the beach and try to sell you shells and gifts. They are pushy and will not leave anyone alone. Although the pool is not heated, the pool is absolutely beautiful. At the time there were only a total of 12 people staying at the resort. Not one person enjoyed their stay. Do not be fooled by the pictures posted of this resort. The pictures are not a true representation of the actual dilapidated resort.
