Fremantle Boutique Accommodation - Maand up

This is a bouquet hotel, not very fancy but with all the essentials you need. Room is cozy and clean. Just to remind everyone that the address of the hotel is #30, not #32. I was struggling to check in #32 on the night until I found it was actually #30 on that street. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodated me a late check out. Worth the money paid.

Position close to Geraldton with the advantage of the beach front. When renovations completed will be excellent.

Check in wasn’t open when we arrived at 14:30, there’s only a phone number on door, not good as an international traveler with only data access on phone. Parking ok, on the street but limited and time controlled. Room was good, clean tidy, with tea/coffee facilities. Bed was comfortable & shower room was clean & shower was excellent. Well lit pathways. We didn’t use the pool.

The property was comfortable and clean. The pool and casual areas are really good and it is a very inviting location, close to all the Fremantle sites and venues. We could walk everywhere, so a car isn't required for local travels. Rottnest Ferry is nearby and again an easy walk to board. Lets also be very clear here, there is no off street parking, all local parking is metered/monitored, also noting the signs include "Road and Verge" parking, so the verge is not a safe haven. This doesn't take away from the property or location, rather clearly defines the parking arrangements set by the Freo Council. There is plenty of local/walkable day parking if a car is a must, but at a cost ($15.00 per day we found at the end of Arundle Street).

Questionable value during off-season Stayed two weeks, started well, ended not so well. Positives: Very good location within walking distance from Freo centre, quiet neighbourhood; free parking if scarce; spacious room, clean towels daily, good shower, quite well equipped kitchenette, excellent coffee amenities; good bed and decent linen and duvet Not so positive: Room worn, could do with updating; cleaning mediocre, floors filthy underneath the bed and sofa; air conditioner (heat pump) broke after first week - extra heater was provided next day; refrigerator overloaded circuit - icebox melted with water all over floor; soundproofing between rooms not great
