Warders Hotel by Garde

I booked a suite with a kitchen, which was very convenient. The space was good, and it had a quiet little courtyard. It was also quite clean, and the location was superb – walkable to everything. The town itself is great, perfect for a relaxing stay.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Fremantle Market. The main building has been newly renovated, and the overall design and color scheme are fantastic. The front desk service was very good. However, the food and beverage service was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if this is due to the complimentary welcome drink and simple buffet breakfast included in the room rate, adding extra workload for the F&B staff.

The rooms in the new building are incredibly well-designed, featuring double-layered electric curtains and large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the morning, when the curtains open, the sunlight completely fills the bed. I rarely book a room that gets such fantastic sunlight. The room rate includes breakfast, which is relatively simple, offering items like bread, fruit, and milk. I personally think that's perfectly sufficient nutritionally. You can also order à la carte for breakfast, which offers options similar to what you'd find at a Western-style breakfast place outside. Regarding parking, as there are limited on-site parking spots, I parked at the FOMO car park outside the hotel this time, which was a bit inconvenient. If you need on-site parking, make sure to book in advance. The hotel's ground floor restaurant serves breakfast in the morning and Japanese cuisine in the evening. There's also a Chinese restaurant and other Asian dining options at FOMO, which is not far from the hotel. This place is located right in the heart of Fremantle, so all the attractions are just a short walk away.

The weekday prices are quite reasonable, but weekends are significantly more expensive. I stayed in the new building, which was very clean. The bathroom was large, but the room itself was small. The breakfast was quite basic, probably the simplest I've had while traveling abroad.
