Countryside hotell in gorgeous surroundings. The rooms are clean, spacious and many rooms have access to terraces. We used the swimming pool which was excellent and well maintained. The restaurant and the food fit the place with large portions of tasty food. We enjoyed sitting at the restaurants terrace in front of the hotel until the late in the evening. The staff of the family run hotel is kind, attentive and pleasant. The whole place is glooming from a joyful atmosphere. We had a great time. Free parking directly in front of the hotel.

We where traveling on a motorcycle holiday to Austria, we booked an overnight stay at this hotel, it’s a lovely hotel you drive down a little single track road and it just appears, a very nice room, we all amenities, the hotel staff told me to put motorbike round the rear of hotel under cover as it was going to rain that night. Had a lovely swim in there swimming pool and a few drinks along with a lovely meal, in the morning we had a nice breakfast , I would highly recommend using this hotel if your in the area would love to visit again.

A very pleasant stay. Nice room and great food. I’ve spent one night there. The internet works perfectly and who doesn’t like a well prepare schnitzel as meal? I would stay there again when I get to this area. Service excellent and lovely view at the area around. I would recommend to all.

Landhotel Waldeck is a lovely family-owned and run Inn on the Romantic Road. Our experience was outstanding. Michael, the receptionist, was helpful, cheerful and accommodating. The family members all greeted us throughout our stay and helped us with things to see in the area and places to go. The room and bath were spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was quite comfortable and linens very nice. Breakfast was excellent with eggs to order and tasty pastries, breads, meats, cheeses and cereals. We ate dinner in their restaurant two nights and the dining room was beautiful. Our room balcony looked over a lovely farm and it was quiet and peaceful.

Exceptionel service, friendly staff, clean and well kept place. We arravied in the afternoon and had dinner at the hotel. Not to big menu and lots of local specialties.We really enjoyed the food, but the portions were large. Good selction of wine and beer to go with the food.

Clean spacious room and very friendly people! We were there for 1 night. really great restaurant on a beautifiul terrace under the trees. So nice to see that family run hotels have survived the corona pandemy!

Das sehr liebevoll familiengeführte Hotel liegt mitten in der Natur. Hervoragendes Frühstück und Abendessen. Alles sehr sauber. Es gibt ein Schwimmbad, einen Biergarten und einen Garten. Man kann Fahrräder ausleihen. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen. Die Familie Langenwalder war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein sehr schönes, ruhiges Hotel. Ich hatte ein großes Zimmer mit Eckbank, Minibar und einen schönen Blick in den Garten und zum Wald. Einfach ein Ort um den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen. Ich komme wieder.

Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour. Chambre spacieuse, cadre calme, personnel charmant, petit déjeuner copieux et diversifié, et la piscine fut un plus par ces grandes chaleurs : )

Wir haben auf unserer Reise über die romantische Strasse ein Hotel für den mittleren Teil gesucht. Dabei sind wir auf das Waldeck gestossen, ein Glücksfall. Das Hotel liegt sehr idyllisch im Grünen wo sich Fuchs und Hase Gutenacht sagen. Es wird von der Familie geführt. Die Zimmer sind schön, geräumig mit viel Sitz- und Schrankplatz und traditionell eingerichtet, deutsche Eiche halt. Das Personal (identisch mit den Besitzern) sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen und hätte einem Hotel höherer Kategorie gut angestanden. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut und vor allem reichhaltig, Bayrisch halt. Das Hotel verfügt über ein kleines Hallenbad und hinter dem Haus einen wunderschönen grossen Garten. Auf unsere Frage nach Wandergelegenheiten wurde uns eine Karte mit diversen Vorschlägen rund ums Haus ausgehändigt und auf dem Zimmer befand sich ein Tablett mit vielen Informationen rund um Hotel und die Gegend. Vor dem Haus befindet sich ein schöner Biergarten unter Bäumen, sehr angenehm bei der diesjährigen Hitze. Auch angenehm die Besitzer haben immer dafür gesorgt, dass spätestens ab 2200 Ruhe herrschte und die Hotelgäste nicht gestört wurden. Es hat uns so gut gefallen dass wir noch eine Nacht länger geblieben sind. Falls wir wieder einmal in dieser Gegend sind würden wir sofort wieder dort absteigen.
