Le Domaine (Swiss Lodge)

The location of the hotel is still a little away from the downtown area of Fribourg. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes by bus from the train station and then another 10 minutes on foot. However, we plan to have a relatively good time for family travel this time. On the contrary, I like it very much. It is most convenient if you live here and drive by yourself. There are many parking spaces in the parking lot. This time with children, the family loves this hotel very much. The hotel is very new, the rooms and bathrooms are relatively spacious, there is a garden in front, and the sheep farm can take the baby for a walk. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful residential areas. There is a Chinese restaurant within a 20-minute walk, and a good bakery and coffee shop within a ten-minute walk. Suitable for friends who don't have a tight schedule. The hotel breakfast is very fresh and very good. The hotel does not have a TV, and the kettle is only used in public spaces, and there is no extra space in the room. This is a very affordable and simple hotel.

A quiet and relaxing place to relax after a stroll through the city. There is also a view of the mountains behind the apar**ent blocks, even from the bathroom. The staff are extremely friendly. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully presented. The double room is spacious, with good beds. We would come back immediately, i.e. we would love to stay longer 😉.

It is located quite close to the center of Friborg but is surrounded by nature. Peace, calm, a good breakfast, friendly staff, a nice little shop and attention to the environment. There are also alpacas and sheep around. Place to relax. I advise.

Friendliness, tranquility, sustainability and general quality of the place. A very pleasant moment of rest alone and with family for a weekend in Fribourg. Slightly out of the center but worth it. We'll come back.

Superb establishment, very quiet, in an environment of greenery, llamas, sheep and goats, very pleasant setting.... You may be surprised by the new testament in the bedside book or the chapel indicated at the entrance, but it is acts a former religious building, reoriented into an establishment managed by a socio-professional reintegration center, extremely friendly and dedicated staff. Excellent restaurant, a little expensive for an average French salary. Be careful of 2 things, the electrical outlets which do not accept all devices (but the reception may have adapters)... And a big hassle to find the right route... I am attaching the photos to be clearer. Excellent establishment to recommend
