Forest Village (Fuji Premium Resort) Reviews

The resort provides a free shuttle bus every hour between the train station and the resort, it's pretty convenient but you need to book ahead especially when there are a lot of people. I and my friend went for the Fuji Marathon last year and we needed to go to the starting point earlier than the shuttle bus first round, we planned to book a taxi but with the resort staff's advice, they were afraid that the taxi would be hard to book so they offer us an extra early shuttle bus round to the station with kindness, what a great service!!. Their restaurant also have Mt. Fuji view

Nice Local hotel

A beautiful, top-notch accommodation nestled in the forest! Request hotel pickup for convenient access to public transportation. On our way out after checkout, we even saw a mother deer and her baby deer grazing by.

The service was excellent. The shuttle bus to and from Kawaguchiko was very punctual every day. Mr. Su at the front desk was very warm and attentive; I was very satisfied. On the first day, we stayed in a villa on the first floor of the Forest Villa, which felt a bit damp and musty. On the second day, we requested a room upstairs, which was much better. We stayed for three days, and they gave us a four-person suite, which was too big.

The hotel covers a large area, with many entertainment facilities and a place for pets to play. The rooms are also large and beautiful, and you can see people taking their pets for a walk everywhere, which is very warm. If the weather is good, you can also see Mount Fuji in the breakfast restaurant🗻.

The room is large and the facilities are relatively complete, suitable for family travel. The location is a bit remote. The hotel has a shuttle bus, which requires reservation. It would be more convenient to travel by car, or you can wait for a taxi at Kawaguchiko Station.

A great hotel, a hotel in the forest! On the first floor of the townhouse, there are two double suites with separate bathrooms, and an LDK. The small bar in the LDK is equipped with an induction cooker, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine. Outside the LDK is a forest courtyard. Every morning, there will be a parking shuttle to the door of the room to pick up for dinner (book breakfast time in advance). The restaurant on the fifth floor offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. The hotel has its own hot springs, SPA, pet-friendly, tennis courts, billiards room, and considerate Chinese front desk service. Book a shuttle bus in advance for travel (from the hotel to Kawaguchiko Station). The overall feeling is a real vacation-style travel!

Beautiful environment and complete facilities, but there are always woods and insects. Those who are afraid of insects should think twice 😂

The forest villa has unmelted snow, the air is excellent, the room is large, and it is very pet-friendly. Almost all other places in Japan bring puppies. The hot spring is not too convenient, but I am very satisfied with everything else, especially the teppanyaki dinner.

There is a microwave, refrigerator, and fireplace. The room also has floor heating. It is beyond expectations. The one I stayed in is considered a resort, with one building and guest rooms next door and on the second floor. The restaurant is in the main building, check-in is also in the main building, and there is a shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko Station

The hotel service staff is very poor. There is no phone in the hotel. What should I do if I need something? However, the breakfast is good and the view towards Mount Tofuji is superb. The hotel list states that you can borrow a meal cooker, but I was disappointed that I couldn't borrow one.

It was my first time to stay here, and I was a little worried because I hadn't seen other reviews before. But I really didn’t expect it. The experience here was completely beyond my expectation! Each small villa is spacious and comfortable, with complete facilities. Even the bathrooms are so luxurious, which surprised me. And although the nearby hot spring is not big, it is kept clean and tidy, and the bar next to it is a plus! Every dish at dinner was unique, especially the meltingly tender steak, which made me hooked. Also, the hotel is really close to Mount Fuji. The fresh air in the morning and the authentic breakfast made me feel even more happy. In short, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay this time. The price/performance ratio is really high. I will recommend this hotel to everyone without hesitation!
