Everything else was fine, and the location is right by Lake Kawaguchiko. The only thing I have to say is that they force you to pay a 150 JPY hot spring fee, whether you use it or not. There's no point in arguing about it, but this kind of mandatory charge feels a bit inappropriate, even if 150 JPY isn't much.

Even though the hotel isn't brand new, it's very clean and well-maintained. The tatami mats were comfortable to sleep on. While I wasn't a fan of the breakfast and dinner, they were beautifully presented. It's also very close to Lake Yamanaka.

The hotel location is really good. A bit of walk to kawaguchiko station but hotel offers shuttle bus. You can just call them when you arrive at the station and they can also drop off guests at 9am/10am which was super convenience. Our room was very spacious and you can see Mt. Fuji from the window. I loved the hot spring at the hotel and staff were lovely and helpful. One of the satisfied staying in Japan.

This hotel is terrible when u travelling with kids .. too strict and not family friendly at all .. they watching everything u do even when u are eating they still watching u and telling u what to do and not to do.. very bad experience for me

The hotel was lovely. We had a traditional room which was nice and spacious. The beds were comfy. They provided skincare products and 6 different bottles of toiletries for the shower which was a nice touch. We didn't get a chance to try the baths but they looked nice. Good location close to some restaurants and a shop. Would have liked to stay longer.

Pros: Convenient shuttle bus pickup and dropoff. Also has a free drinks bar and massage chairs. Has a simple outdoor onsen too. Neutral: food was ok but not amazing.
