Stayed 3days2nights with breakfast and dinner, extremely enjoyable stay with hotel new century. I would highly recommend staying here. 1. Friendly staff welcoming us, fluent English explanation 2. take a free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko station. 3. Before leaving, the staff was proactive to take photos in front of the Fuji mountain view And we received 4pcs of postcards when checking out time. 4. I like the onsen in high view during night time, and also lower the floor onsen in the morning with a mountain view of Fuji. 5. Food delicious 🤤 morning/dinner meal also can add rice. 4 selection of dinner meal. 6. Walked right side to the bridge in the morning for sunrise, amazing took lots of nice photos! Quite a lot of people are waiting for sunrise as well 🌄 前一天晚上才订巴士票，seibu bus ikebukuro上巴士。回也是前一天晚上订回程巴士票，从河口湖到新宿南口。We took the bus and Reached Kawaguchiko station, walked to the bus station no.10 and luckily met up shuttle hotel bus of the new century hotel. We just checked in, dropped our luggage, walked to a nearby restaurant having a lunch meal set. then walked to a nearby cable car with a 10% discount from the hotel. During night time, the information counter closed, we took a nearby red color bus station to go back from kawaguchiko eki station back to the hotel. If Walking.. need 20min+.. Overall, a happy stay during my honeymoon trip! Hopefully I will stay in the hotel again! Appreciated for the people we met, sweet memories trip..

Good thing about this hotel is they provide shuttle bus to & from hotel ＜＞ kawaguchiko station. Things to improve: I’ve asked for higher floor but they cannot process with the request. No other mirror in the room except from toilet - this is very inconvenient for families traveling and staying in one room. No place to hang cloth/tower properly. The hair dryer is bad - too hot but with soft wind. The toilet is very cold and they should have properly installed the heater in the toilet area.

Traveling solo and don't speak the local language can be daunting, so when the front desk staff switched from English and Japanese to Chinese, it was such a relief – a truly heartwarming moment! Plus, the hotel offers a shuttle service. I actually got on the wrong bus initially, and the driver ended up making an extra trip without picking me up. But when I mentioned wanting to print photos at a Lawson convenience store about a kilometer away, they still drove me there. We had another hiccup when I realized I'd forgotten my bank card and couldn't get cash. Even after all that, when I sheepishly asked to go to Lawson again, the staff understood my predicament and took me back, which I really appreciated. The next day, even though breakfast hours were over when they took me to the station, they still made sure I got a fantastic meal. And with Mount Fuji right outside my balcony, this hotel has officially become my 'hotel for life'!

Ambiance: Our room had a stunning view of Mount Fuji, and we even managed to snap a picture of its reflection, which was beautiful. Service: The staff were warm, attentive, and excellent.

The main reason I booked this hotel was for the stunning view of Mount Fuji right from my window once the curtains were drawn. When I arrived at Kawaguchiko Station, I told the staff at the tourist information center on the left which hotel I had booked. They called the hotel for me, and I was in the shuttle about 8 minutes later. A very helpful middle-aged woman at the hotel's front desk handled my check-in; she provided excellent service and explained everything thoroughly. The hotel has separate hot springs for men and women, located in two different buildings, which rotate in the morning and evening. I booked a plan with dinner and breakfast. The Japanese meals were exquisitely presented, though the taste was just average. After dinner, I returned to my room to find the futons already laid out. The service throughout my stay was incredibly attentive. There are many Japanese-style hotels around the lake, and this one offers good value for money. Recommended.

The traditional tatami-only room was both charming and comfortable, giving me a relaxing and authentic Japanese experience. Sleeping on the futon laid out on tatami felt surprisingly cozy, and the room was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. But the best part of the stay was the breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji right from the room. Waking up to such a stunning, unobstructed view was absolutely unforgettable—one of those rare moments you want to capture and keep forever. The staff were warm, polite, and always ready to assist, making the entire stay smooth and enjoyable. The hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, perfect for recharging. If you’re looking for a traditional Japanese-style stay with a superb Mt. Fuji view, I highly recommend Hotel New Century. I would love to return again!

Finally, the weather cleared up on check-out day, and I could see Mount Fuji from my room. The hotel breakfast was also a set menu that changed daily, which was nice. The hotel service was excellent; they have a shuttle that takes you to Kawaguchiko Station. On check-out day, we left our luggage at the hotel and spent half a day exploring the area light-handed. At noon, the hotel thoughtfully delivered our luggage to Kawaguchiko Station, saving us the hassle of going back and forth to the hotel to pick it up. Thumbs up!

The hotel's service completely exceeded our expectations. There's a free shuttle from Kawaguchiko to the hotel; just ask the staff at the Kawaguchiko Station information desk to call the hotel, and wait at Exit 10. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The check-in staff were meticulous and attentive, answering all our questions and providing clear instructions. The dinner menu was confirmed via email in advance, and both breakfast and dinner service felt incredibly ceremonial. Our room offered a direct view of Mount Fuji, and evening strolls along Lake Kawaguchiko were fantastic. If possible, I highly recommend this wonderfully welcoming hotel and extend my sincere thanks to all the staff for their care.

Our trip to Lake Kawaguchiko at Mount Fuji, to be precise, didn't feature much of Mount Fuji for most of the time, but the warmth we unexpectedly received from the hotel's service more than made up for it. From the very first call to arrange pickup to the last shuttle service before departure, every detail was handled with care and thoughtfulness. Even when we missed our dinner reservation for some reason, they still went out of their way to drive us to Lawson to pick up bento boxes. And even when there were concerns about transportation outside of regular shuttle hours, they proactively offered their service. The meals, from morning to night, were simply delicious, and the service was impeccable. The attentiveness to guests even impressed our 7-year-old child. The Chinese-speaking grandpa who drove the car and the grandma who served meals left a particularly strong impression. This was truly a wonderful first experience, no filters needed. Among all the family-friendly hotels I've stayed at, this offered the best service so far! And surprisingly, it's not even primarily a family-oriented hotel. Aside from the uncooperative weather on the second day, there were no downsides. Hope to see you again next time!

The service was absolutely amazing! My only slight embarrassment was having the lovely elderly couple serving us and carrying our luggage – it felt a bit awkward for younger folks like us to just stand by and watch. The hotel's pick-up and drop-off service was incredibly convenient. We arrived at Fujisan Kawaguchiko Station at 8 PM, used the free internet call from our Trip.com order to contact the hotel for a pick-up, and waited at bus stop #10. They even reminded us to buy some food beforehand, then call the bus, which arrived in just five minutes. The hotel has two hot springs ♨️, and experiencing one of them was wonderfully relaxing. We stayed in a mountain-view room. At 4:30 AM, I couldn't wait to open the curtains to see if Mount Fuji was visible, but unfortunately, it was shrouded in mist. I went downstairs and asked the staff, who said we'd be able to see it in 20 minutes. And sure enough, Mount Fuji didn't disappoint on this trip! I even met a Thai tourist who had stayed three nights, and this was their first time seeing the full view of Mount Fuji. After check-out, the hotel's shuttle bus took us directly to our first sightseeing spot, which was very convenient. They also told us to call the hotel 40 minutes before we left, and they would deliver our luggage back to Kawaguchiko bus station. Truly thoughtful!

The pickup service was very convenient, dinner was plentiful, the view was excellent, and both the bathroom and hot springs were clean.

Good experience of tatami sleep and Japanese style for breakfast. All being prepared and served. The room is clean and tidy although the property is a bit old. But certainly has very good view of Mount Fuji from the room.

Facilities: It's an older hotel, but you can tell it's very well-maintained, so it's still quite good! Cleanliness: The room was very clean, and there was no musty smell in the public areas. Environment: You can see Mount Fuji right from the room, and walking along Lake Kawaguchiko is also very pleasant! Service: The service was excellent👍 It was raining on the day we arrived, and the attendant at the entrance was waiting with an umbrella for me to park the car. On the day we left, they also stood by the car and waited until I got in before leaving – such warm service. The front desk and restaurant service were also great! I'd love to stay here again next time I visit Kawaguchiko!

Both breakfast and dinner were plentiful, the service was warm and attentive, and the station pick-up/drop-off was excellent. The location is superb; if you love photography, this is the place to be. You can capture stunning scenery right from your room, directly facing Mount Fuji. It offers great value for money.
