Every staff at the hotel was exceptionally warm and friendly. The meals were also perfect. We enjoyed both the public onsen and the in-room hot spring—both were wonderful experiences. The only area that could potentially be improved is the selection of bedding and amenities, as they could be more refined.

Had a fantastic experience! The room offered an amazing view of Mount Fuji, and every meal was different and delicious. The service was also excellent, and the environment was great. Honestly, apart from being a little pricey, I can't find any other issues.

Out of all the Fufu properties I've stayed at, the food here ranks as the second worst (Nara being the absolute worst). The Western-style breakfast, specifically, was awful except for the bread. However, the kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot) was delicious. The drink menu is good, with both the special strawberry cocktail and local sake being excellent. The view offers a great half-panorama of Mount Fuji, and the room I got through Ctrip had a prime location. The onsen quality is average, and the bedding is a bit rough and unremarkable.

This is truly the perfect place to stay in Kawaguchiko. The service was exceptional from start to finish, warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from the room. Waking up to Fuji in the morning felt unreal. Having a private in-room onsen made the experience even more special soaking in the hot spring while facing Mount Fuji is something that hits differently and is hard to put into words. Dinner and breakfast were both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, turning every meal into a memorable experience. Fufu Kawaguchiko delivered an unforgettable stay, where comfort, tranquility, and understated luxury came together perfectly.

For its price point, the room offers a rather standard layout, and the furniture is quite basic and unremarkable. The hotel's main appeal undoubtedly lies in its natural surroundings, which it clearly capitalizes on. It's highly advisable to dine at the hotel, as external dining options in the vicinity are very limited. The other services, delivered by young staff, are generally satisfactory but not exceptional. Despite service being a core aspect of any hotel, nothing particularly stood out here.

Overall, I was quite satisfied with the room. I particularly loved having a private outdoor hot spring. The service was also excellent, very professional and discreet. My only minor disappointment was that after I asked the front desk staff to turn on the fireplace in my room, no one ever came to assist. The two included meals were quite satisfactory. My absolute favorite was the hotel's toiletries; they had a subtle, sophisticated scent, and I even bought a few sets to take home as gifts. However, the hotel facilities and activities were a bit limited, so it could get a little dull if you stayed for too long. It's not an exceptionally luxurious place, nor does it offer incredible value for money, but it's perfect for an occasional retreat to experience a more 'organic' lifestyle.

The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a Japanese-Western style design, and offered a stunning direct view of Mount Fuji. The private indoor soaking tub was spotless and wonderfully relaxing. However, the true highlight was the dining experience. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely superb. The Kaiseki meals masterfully blended traditional flavors with innovative touches, offering a rich culinary journey that far exceeded our expectations. Having stayed at many ryokans that include both breakfast and dinner, I can confidently say the food here was arguably the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!

This hotel boasts an outstanding ambiance. Both its facilities and service are truly top-notch. The rooms offer stunning direct views of Mount Fuji, with the landscape transforming beautifully across the four seasons. It will definitely be my top choice for future visits to Lake Kawaguchiko to unwind and simply take in the majestic views of Mount Fuji.

The dinner and breakfast were amazing, and the private onsen was fantastic; I used it once in the morning and once in the evening.

Amazing. The room, the dinner and breakfast. Master class chef prepared food. We had a private onsen which was really great. The stuff was helpful. We were loving it.

Service was fantastic, food was fantastic, room was amazing. We did not want to leave. What a special hotel and location it is in!! Highly recommend but also want this place to be a secret.
