The hotel room view was fantastic! Even though the weather wasn't great and Mount Fuji was being shy, the views of Lake Kawaguchiko never disappointed. I booked the 'one night, two meals' package for 6250 JPY, and it was excellent – a wonderful kaiseki meal. The service wasn't quite up to par though; the staff seemed a bit arrogant. I had to wipe down and carry my own luggage. There are two shared bathhouses, which felt very authentic and were quite nice. It's about on par with a guesthouse, so don't expect too much. Overall, it was still good, and I'd visit again next time.

The location is excellent, with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji directly from the room. The ryokan is clean, and the bed is very comfortable.

We had our reservation with dinner and breakfast and it definitely worth it, delicious. Also there is this view, something you wish to wake up to every day!

If you choose the room facing Mt. Fuji, you get great view of the Mt Fuji and the lake right in front of you. You can simply view Mt. Fuji in the comfort of your blanket. What an experience. It is a small and comfortable hotel with nice dinner and breakfast. The staffs are friendly and they certainly tried their best to assist you. They have certain house rules that some may find it too restrictive for them. There is fixed dinner and breakfast time. Showering time has to be scheduled. Being a small hotel, this is just their constraint. We came prepared for it and we had a great time here.

Great value and good view of the lake and Fuji! I really liked the traditional style of the rooms. Service was good despite other reviews, and it's not that strict - you just need to follow their house rules, which aren't that onerous. If you book this place with the idea that it is a homestay with house rules, you wouldn't be disappointed!

The only minus is that you can not store the luggage

Location is amazing! Location is amazing! Location is amazing! Super cheap! Super cheap! Super cheap! Take the red line to 📍Kawaguchiko Oto no Mori Museum. There's a 7-Eleven and a FamilyMart across the street from the station. I recommend buying your things before dark because it gets super dark at night. The hotel is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel is a 1-minute walk from the lake. The staff are very friendly and can explain things in English. The pan-fried salmon for breakfast was incredibly delicious, with absolutely no fishy smell. The grilled pork for dinner was also very good 🤤 The room has a panoramic view of Mount Fuji 🗻. Super high value for money ❤️🥹 The only minor drawback is that you have to carry your luggage to the second floor yourself. The sink, toilet, and shower are shared with other guests. There's a curfew from 10 PM to 6 AM. Please be aware if this bothers you. I will definitely come back next time!

Good service, warm welcome, delicious food, recommend booking dinner, good location, if the sky is clear, you can see Fuji very beautifully.
