Short stay is ideal; otherwise you get the same breakfast and buffet dinner every day. It can be boring.

Amazing hotel. Very friendly and welcoming staff, large and clean room with a perfect view of Mount Fuji. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious with a varied selection. An ideal place to relax body and soul.

Stayed here for two nights the first half was fairly pleasant, room was big with unobstructed view of lake kawaguchi and mt fuji. However the second night we found a huge spider in our toilet room and we called the front desk for help but there was no staff member as it’s not a 24hr service hotel only two securities were there; the staff all went home. So we had to play hide and seek with the spider and took us 3 hours to kill it and finally have a good nights sleep. Told the staff about it the next day and they just acknowledged it and did nothing which was very disappointing for a so called 5 star hotel

The hotel facilities are very good. You will enjoy every second when you are staying in Ubuya. There is sightseeing bus stop 13 right at the door of the hotel. Also there is free shuttle to send you to the train station. I will definitely book again!

What more can I say, this place is a dream, love the hotel buffet definitely coming back

Great hotel with the best Mount Fuji view! Though small things could be improved. Like having coffee in the room, having the balcony glass cleaned to have a clear view of the mountain and maybe insulating more the windows/doors - as it was very easy to hear everything going around the hotel or the people in the street and our room was 4th floor, we could still hear people at night. The food was great quality, however buffet style always drags down a bit of the experience, especially when it wasn’t a low/mid budget hotel. But that’s just an opinion. But overall, grateful to have had experienced mount Fuji from this hotel. ☺️🗻
