Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata Gion Kushida Shrine

Great value for money. The room was comfortable, and the location was quiet yet convenient, there’s a subway entrance right at the hotel door. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hot spring was clean and relaxing, which was a great bonus. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast. I stayed for 4 nights, and the breakfast options were the same every day, which got a bit repetitive. A little more variety would make a big difference. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I would still recommend it for the comfort, location, and service.

While many loved to stay at the Hakata station area, I think the location for croom is perfect! It is about a short 8-10 mins walk to the Hakata station area and it is alot quieter at where we stayed. There are plenty of food options nearby, there were even two yatai operating right outside the hotel - a lot more authentic and not touristy. There’s also a 24hr supermarket and a number of drugstores that operate until late night! Will definitely recommend this hotel!

Wonderful location! A straight walk from Hakata Station (or you can take one stop on the subway). The hotel is right outside the subway station. Very short walk to Canal City too. A 24h pharmacy nearby with an AEON mart at the basement. There's good food around too. Really great location but if you stay the STAY ROOM type, please note that you will be facing a huge cemetery 🥲. It's mostly hidden by trees but you absolutely can see it. The hotel is right infront of the cemetery. Other room types won't get that view thankfully. There's a free to use public bath, free ice pops, and free to use microwave. Washing machine outside is paid per use. You can see the status from your room. STAY ROOM washing is free with detergent provided 👍 Service was great initially. Check in team aided with my requests. However, checkout team was not the best. I arrived at the counter, confused and in a rush but the team in the morning all stood behind the counter, leaning their backs to the wall. I utter a word of question and nobody came forward to help. I tried to figure it out myself, by slotting in the card, then finally someone came forward, no talk no acknowledgement, tapped some stuff - all in japanese - and then nothing. I was confused, then one of the English speaking stuff said "all done"... I was very unimpressed with this service. Especially with the sight of all of them leaning against the wall when I obviously needed help. Really a downer to a good stay.

nice location, 2min to rainway, 3 min to 7-11 / Aeon, will book again if come Fuk again

Location was great, easy walk to the Canal City and full full bakery. Public bath was also great.

I recently stayed again at Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata Gion Kushida Shrine, and it definitely lived up to my expectations for a return visit. The location is still one of the biggest highlights — being right next to the subway and within walking distance to Hakata Station, Canal City, and plenty of restaurants makes getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. While they’re not very large (which is typical in Japan), everything is well laid out and comfortable. I especially appreciated the small details like the amenities and overall cleanliness. One of the best parts of staying here again was the public bath (onsen). It’s clean, relaxing, and a perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring — definitely something I looked forward to every night. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient. Overall, this hotel continues to be a reliable and comfortable choice in Fukuoka. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and well-equipped base for exploring the city.

Ideal location it’s only about 10 minutes. Walk to Hakata station. The famous Full Full Bakery is just opposite this hotel so every morning we go down and queue for breakfast before it opened. The famous FUK Cafe is also downstairs. Unfortunately, the room is a little bit too small. As we didn’t really like the horse spring design compared to other hotels. For soul Falls, it’s too bright second of all how can you turn on such strong Aircon or Fann in the mail change your room when everybody gets naked and wet? We almost got flu every I’ve been naked in such situation when we are changing our clothes. I strongly suggest a team to do something and keep it warm.
