R Hotel HAKATA Minoshima

Although there's a cooking pot in the hotel room, there's no spatula for frying eggs or a ladle for soup. This makes cooking impossible for guests who wish to do so. The washer-dryer is a good size and works well, and an iron is also provided, which is very convenient.

Good amenities, a private kitchen, and relatively spacious for Japanese standards.

The accommodation itself was incredibly comfortable and pleasant, and the security was excellent. It's about a 25-minute walk from Hakata Station, and after a day of touring, it was perfect to pick up some late-night snacks from the supermarket and then just relax by watching Netflix.

First and foremost, we loved how spacious it was compared to other hotels, and I truly believe it's the perfect accommodation if you're traveling with children. While its location is a bit removed from the city center, we primarily used taxis, so we didn't find it inconvenient at all. We actually preferred its Airbnb-like vibe over a typical hotel. Even though we didn't utilize the cooking facilities, having the option to cook is a huge advantage for families with kids. The washing machine was also a lifesaver, allowing us to easily do laundry after water activities, which kept everything fresh and comfortable. We definitely want to return for a longer stay in the future!

The location is quite convenient. There are plenty of cheap parking options downstairs, a 24-hour supermarket nearby, and it's quick to get to other central districts.

The hotel was so clean, cozy, and simply wonderful! I particularly liked the hairdryer.
