Hotel Dormy Inn Premium Hakata Canalcitymae Fukuoka Reviews

The location was superb as it's just a few steps away from the underground entrance to the metro. There's also a 24Hr supermarket just minutes walk from the hotel above ground or if it's raining you can take the metro underground walkway which will also get you right to the entrance of supermarket. There are a few drug stores nearby (for medicine / cosmetics) and some open till 9pm or even midnight. It's only a very short walk to get to Canal city shopping area which has an array of shops and dinning options. We stayed for 5 nights and breakfast was included in our room rate and it was very good with a decent amount of choices (we ended up eating there 4/5 mornings). Although the dinning area was not very big so if you're there during peak hours there could be a bit of a wait. The room was a standard 'Dormy' room that you'd expect in almost any other Dormy Inn but for this particular hotel we felt the cleaning needs a bit of work. We have a habit of wiping down the shelves / tables before placing our things and even after three rounds of wiping with wet cloth / tissue it's still grey which shook us a bit.

The location is convenient and we love Dormy inn and everything. The onsen, breakfast and free ramen supper. Dormy inn never fail us.

Very convenient location, right in front of subway station and 1 station away from Hakata Station, canal city hakata is just across the street, yatai stalls all walking distance from hotel, lots of shops around the hotel, the onsen was wonderful!

Not so valuable for this price, the room is quite small

The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Onsen is my favourite and it’s very nice and clean. Love their evening free ramen too. We also use their laundry a few times cos of the sweated clothes and their detergent smells really good!

The location is excellent, peaceful yet central, right next to the Grand Canal shopping mall.

The room we stayed was quite small. With a double bed inside the room, there was hardly any room for us to move around. The room was smelly and I suspect they do not clean it too often. It was definitely not worth the price we paid for. We also asked for changing to a twin room but it could not be entertained.

Unbeatable price with hot spring inside hotel. Unlimited ice cream and Yakult Drink. Clean and tidy. Traditional Ramen at nigt time before midnight. Location is in the Center, nearby the subway. Oh….. simply park the car next to hotel in 10 steps. HKD100 a day.

Good breakfast and onsen. But the rooms are too small for a Dormi Inn, which carries the Premium label. Overall, we love this chain for the quality they provide and the onsen in every hotel.

The room felt a bit dated, and the mattress was too soft for my preference. Only one complimentary bottle of water was provided. However, the hot springs were excellent, and they even offered unlimited Yakult to drink. Breakfast was decent, offering a good variety of options. The service was very good, and the hotel's location is superb, providing convenient access to transportation.

Good value for money and great location. The nicest thing about the hotel is the natual onsen and all the complimentary items for their guests like ramen at night, morning coffee/juice/tea, ice-cream, yakult drinks. We used the onsen every night after a long day out.  The hotel is right next to the subway station.  The room is not big. No room cleaning without a charge. But clean towels are hang outside the door everyday.
