The staff and services are beyond exception. If you are IHG member they allow late checkout. The breakfast is a bit overpriced. Although they have staff for special stations or catering local food, the taste is just so so and there ain’t much of choices. For the price they are charging (over 3000 yen per person), it definitely does not worth the price. It is within 5min walk to the Hakata station and the taxi ride to airport is within 3000 yen. Highly recommended to go to Sushi Sakaba Sashisu Honten at the Hakata station. It’s a must try.

The hotel breakfast was good and tasty. There were a lot of Koreans and ********* guests. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the station, and surprisingly close to Ichiran Ramen, maybe 3 minutes. Overall, it was good.

Compared to Kyoto, the room is definitely spacious. The twin beds, about 1.2 meters wide, were very comfortable. The bathroom, as expected, was small but fully equipped. The service was exceptional; after checking out, I realized I'd forgotten my iPhone charger. I emailed the hotel, and they were very efficient in helping me arrange for it to be mailed back. The location is superb, right across the street from Hakata Station, and very close to the Hakata Christmas Market, Hakata Hankyu, and more.
