Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station

The room was tiny, but the breakfast was good. The rooftop garden on the 5th floor had a nice ambiance, though the food there wasn't great. The location is excellent, especially if you book day tours through Trip.com, as the morning meeting point is right outside the hotel.

This makes traveling to and from the airport and taking the JR to other parts of Kyushu incredibly convenient, with no hassle even with large luggage. The rooms are clean and tidy, and for a city hotel, the space is quite generous, making it easy to store luggage. The breakfast quality is outstanding, with a rich variety of options, including many local Hakata specialties. The hotel also offers self-service laundry and a terrace lounge, along with complimentary snacks and drinks in the evening. Overall, the facilities are new and the service is on point, making it suitable for both business travelers and tourists. The only minor drawback is the higher room rates during peak season, so booking in advance is recommended.

Great location, right by the Hakata exit. The tour bus pick-up point is right outside, which is super convenient. They offer free noodles, drinks, and snacks in the evening. Good!

The location is absolutely fantastic, so convenient! You just exit Hakata Station's Chikushi Gate, take the elevator on your left up to the second floor. The bus for international flights to Fukuoka Airport is literally ten meters from the hotel entrance, making airport access incredibly easy. The famous Musashi Wagyu restaurant is also right across the street. I highly recommend staying here for your trip. The hotel rooms themselves are perfect, and the service is excellent value for money.

The hotel's design is laid-back, stylish, and welcoming. The service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is fantastic! The room size is just right, and the layout of the toilet, shower, and sink is well-planned.
