This is the most comfortable capsule hotel I've ever stayed in! The bed was super big, just like a single bed in a regular hotel, soft, and had plenty of space above, below, and to the sides. You get your own private compartment, not those small bunk-bed-style pods. Whether sitting up or lying down, it didn't feel cramped at all. The bed was a smart sofa bed, which was really cool – you could control the headrest angle via an iPod, as well as the lighting, fan, alarm, and more.
All the facilities were new; it seems like the hotel was recently renovated within the last two years. You need to use your key card to enter after going upstairs, which felt very secure. The restrooms and individual shower rooms were exceptionally clean, modern, and stylishly designed.
The hotel front desk staff provided excellent service. They offered luggage storage, proactively provided an umbrella, and helped me exchange coins. The ground and first floors house a charming Western-style bar/restaurant with a great atmosphere, perfect for guests to relax in.
Finally, the hotel's location is unbeatable. It's right by the Nakasu-Kawabata subway station, surrounded by an abundance of dining and entertainment options. It's also within very easy walking distance to the Nakasu Yatai (food stalls) and Tenjin.
