Hotel Forza Hakataeki Chikushi-Guchi II

Our first stop in Fukuoka, this hotel with a double bed was a pleasant surprise! The showerhead had a multi-jet massage function, and there was even a massager on each bed – so comfortable! The room layout was well-designed, not cramped at all. I feel like we made the right choice; it's much better value than other hotels in the same price range, and it's super close to the high-speed train station, making travel really convenient.

This hotel is a hidden gem, tucked away in an alley right next to the JR and subway Hakata Station. You can walk to Canal City in about 15-20 minutes, which offers a one-stop solution for dining, entertainment, and shopping. On the way, you'll pass by the famous Mentaiko Bread shop, which is definitely worth a try.

Last year, I stayed at the same brand hotel in Sapporo, and this time for my two-night stay in Hakata, it was my top choice again. Its excellent location and convenient access are the biggest advantages. It's only a seven or eight-minute walk to Hakata Station, and right next to the hotel is the popular Musashi restaurant. Although the hotel rooms aren't large, they are fully equipped, with a shower that has massage jets and a massage cushion. In the lobby, there's a self-service coffee machine and toiletries. Next time I visit Fukuoka and stay in Hakata, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

Facilities: Clean and tidy, up to Japanese hotel standards. Hygiene: Spotless. Environment: Excellent, has everything you need. Service: Luggage storage, complimentary coffee, every little detail is perfect. The location is superb with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making transportation incredibly convenient.

I had a very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is convenient, and the facilities are new and smart. The bedding is comfortable and helps with sleep, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. For this price, the quality is excellent, making it incredibly good value for money.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Hakata Station. On the first floor, there's a free coffee machine and toiletries available for self-service. The room layout is very well-designed, making it feel quite spacious. The room was clean, though it can get very humid if the air conditioning isn't set to dehumidify.

Coming out of the East 6 exit at Hakata Station's Chikushi Gate (no elevator, so if you have luggage, use the East 7 exit across the street), walk back about 20 meters to the small intersection, turn left, and walk another 30 meters. The location is truly excellent, with everything you could need nearby. The overall feel is a bit more modern than the Oita branch I stayed at a couple of days ago. It's mainly frequented by foreign tourists, and the 2 PM check-in is a breath of fresh air in the Japanese hotel industry. There are free drinks on the first floor, and complimentary luggage storage before and after check-in. Considering the price, the value for money is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Fukuoka.

Ambiance: It was very quiet, and the soundproofing was quite effective. The location is just a short walk from Hakata Station, so it's quite convenient. Service: Both check-in and check-out can be done easily using the self-service machines, which is very convenient.
