The room felt clean and was comfortably spacious, even for a single room. The bathroom had a slight musty smell. On the first floor, there was coffee and a water dispenser, so it's handy if you have a water bottle or thermos to refill. Breakfast was provided in the morning with a good variety of onigiri. There's only one elevator, which can be a bit inconvenient for those going to upper floors. In terms of location, it's about a 10-minute walk from Tenjin Station, which can be a bit of a trek, but Tenjin-Minami Station is close by.

The late check in at 4 PM is not friendly for early arrivals. The hotel provides service to keep the luggage until check in time. I took a red eye flight and arrived around 10 am. I left my luggage at the hotel concierge and walk around the underground mall, which was within walking distance. I was back at the hotel by 2 PM and waited at the lobby until 4 PM. The hotel room is basic and sufficient. The free breakfast was simple. There were around 8 types of onigiri, with some breads, soups, coffee and juices. Seats were limited and hotel guests are allowed to bring their breakfast back to their rooms. This is a good idea, as I had to check out early and I could eat my breakfast in the room and do some last minute packing.

This hotel only have 1 lift to serve all 12 foors, about 10 units per floor. So they will be long wait of lift, up to 15 minutes. The other is standard Toyoko experiencs.

The Toyoko Inn is generally clean and hygienic. However, if you check in at 3 PM, your room card won't work in the elevator even a minute earlier, as there's only one elevator. Waiting for the elevator in the morning for breakfast and checking out can be quite long. Breakfast is Japanese-style and simple: rice balls, miso soup, small bread rolls, and coffee. Hotel prices in Fukuoka skyrocket by 2-3 times on weekends, so it's recommended to book early if you have plans. There's a small street full of izakayas (Japanese pubs) downstairs, and convenience stores and drugstores are just a few steps away.

It was a truly comfortable business hotel. With meals included, it's great value for money if you're only looking for accommodation. The meals were also well-prepared, with the intention of being eaten in the room, which was nice.

It's a 3-minute walk from Watanabe-dori subway station and is inexpensive and affordable. However, if you enjoy shopping, it would be more convenient to stay near Tenjin or Tenjin-Minami stations. The Yanagibashi Joint Market is nearby.

There's a parking lot right next door, which is super convenient. I was so happy to get all the rice balls! I tried every flavor over two days. I'll definitely book here next time.

The location is convenient. There are subway stations and convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient to go out. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The service staff is friendly and the check-in is fast. The overall CP value is high. I would like to stay here again and recommend it to travelers.
