Izumiya

It is a little far from Iizaka Onsen Station. The indoor bath was lukewarm, but the outdoor rock bath was too lukewarm to bathe in (in the morning), even though the temperature outside was cold. Dinner and breakfast were also not that great.

The hotel has hot springs where you can soak. Our family of five stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room, which was very spacious. The hotel offers many traditional Japanese experiences, providing yukata, geta (wooden clogs), tatami chairs, cushions, etc. There are also delicious round dumplings nearby.

It was quiet, the hot springs were great, and I was able to relax.

朝夕食付きで予約していたが行ったところ素泊まり・岩盤浴付き・クオカード1,000円付きになっていたため隣りの温泉街まで出掛けることになった。trip comから楽天トラベルを通して予約されたようだが無くして欲しい。

当日チェックインの時予約してたのと違うプランになっていて戸惑いました。ホテル側の責任では無いので予約サイトに問い合わせてくれと言われチェックインにかなりの時間がかかりました。ホテル側は困っている私達を見かねて良いサービスを提供してくれまして助かりました。

It was cold in Iizaka, with a maximum temperature of 1°C, but the room and the building were warm and comfortable. The kerosene fan heater in the room was especially helpful. The hot spring was hot. The water was good. The open-air bath was also great. There were a lot of overseas group tourists, so there were no Japanese guests, and I was the only one in the hot spring four times. Dinner and breakfast were more than enough for me. I thought this was the only place where you could enjoy a winter hot spring at this price.

For dinner we had Fukushima beef sukiyaki. It was delicious. For breakfast we had a curry hot pot. One drink was served for free with dinner, so I chose draft beer. The portion was just right, which I like. The open-air bath was a little lukewarm, but the hot spring water in the large public bath was nice. This time, there were many groups of young women, solo male travelers, and foreign families, so it seemed to be quite popular. With the price and quality, it's understandable. I think it's excellent value for money. Since it's Anahara Onsen, it's quite far from Iizaka Onsen Station.

It is a difficult walk from Iizaka Onsen Station. If there are a sufficient number of people, they will provide a shuttle service. Both dinner and breakfast are served at the dining area. I was very satisfied with the amount and taste. Maybe it was the way the rice was cooked, but the rice was really delicious! Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath were just the right temperature, so I went in five times. The smoking area is outside the entrance. I was impressed by the large number of families there. It's good value for money, so I'll definitely be coming back.
