The Editory Garden Carmo Funchal

Everything was more than good! We stayed for 5 nights and had a really wonderful time. The staff was excellent: always kind, helpful, and professional. They meticulously resolved an issue caused by the booking platform, not the hotel itself. I had booked a double room with two separate beds, but this specific request hadn't been communicated to the hotel. To make up for it, we were offered a complimentary upgrade to a superior room, which was spacious and had separate beds as requested – a gesture we truly appreciated. The breakfast was good and varied. The pool, with its well-equipped terrace featuring sun loungers and umbrellas, was well-maintained and perfect for relaxing. The location was also great: convenient for both visiting the city and for those renting a car, as it's quite easy to find parking in the area. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay, and if we ever return to the area, we would definitely choose this hotel again.

The hotel appears to be newly renovated, with convenient transportation, shopping, dining, and access to tourist attractions. It's a three-star hotel. The only downside is that they don't provide disposable slippers; I asked the front desk twice and they said they didn't have any. Unlike Eurostar, which provides disposable slippers. The hotel can help you book day or half-day tours of Funchal's eastern, western, and northern routes. I chose a western day tour, which was a great deal, and the sights were fantastic.
