"This hotel is everything you expect from a well established family run Austrian lake side retreat. The protocol of its day to day running is well established and sound, removing the irritations that often come with a newer or badly managed establishment. The staff are well trained and informative. The food offerings are plentiful but not lavish or luxurious. I’ve been to other Austrian hotels where for example, the cold meats and breads at the buffet are of better quality and more abundant. More varieties of fruits and vegetables offered at the juice bar etc. This didn’t detract from the enjoyment for me personally but I mentally noted it and another guest who had been coming to the hotel for many years did say that the quality and quantity of F and B ‘wasn’t what it used to be’. Despite this I still enjoyed it and I am sure the hotel are doing its very best to make it work in a market that is probably more challenging of late in the face of rising costs and local staff shortages. Sometimes I felt like there was a rather meagre and ungenerous edge to some of the services eg charging 1.5 euros for a carafe of tap water at the table (when you didn’t order alcohol/wine), and the buffet choices mentioned above, hence my 4 rather than 5 star rating, however I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others. I appreciated the positive environmental efforts the hotel are going to; a rather officious towel policy (well managed and not onerous) and the avoidance of plastic use. Excellent job. The rooms are super comfy and function well (if you want marble and brand new bathrooms and fixtures, don’t stay in this kind of hotel). The housekeeping is top notch. The spa services and facilities on offer are great. The massage I had was lovely. The staff are super lovely. The price is fair. I really enjoyed my time here. PS we upgraded our room mid stay. The reception assured us it would be an easy and seamless move, all done for us however it wasn’t at all. The porter who came refused to do it for us even though we had been told to the contrary. After throwing our things into a case at top speed we felt rather misled and when I raised it subsequently no one came to explain or apologise. Not a big thing but definitely an easy fix for the hotel - I guess things sometimes get missed or mis communicated."

"Rennrad & Triathlon Hotel was a perfect training base for us. Private beach with an open water buoy at the pristine Lake Fuschl, professional bike storage, and a plethora of rides and runs in the surrounding area. Clean and comfortable rooms equipped with drying racks, Perfect breakfast with a large variety of food, very tasty dinner, and very friendly owner. We will be back soon !!"

"We were there for 6 days, at the beginning of June 2025 Room: Amazingly quiet (very thick door), absolutely sound proof. Not even a whisper heard from the other rooms nor the street. Very spacious with a lot of light thanks to the big window Plenty of light as well at night thanks to the many lamps an appliances (usually hotels rooms in the evenings are rather dark and glum) Plenty of space to put our things on: dresser + a table and chair + coffee table near the sofa Big cupboard and a bench for our luggage And of course, how else, absolutely clean totally spotless Lobby: Spacious and comfortable with plenty of seat seats and armchairs Breakfast: Perfect, couldn't ask for more Parking: Many spaces for the many cars, right in front of the hotel, entrance thru a gate with a card so no "intruders" The grounds: Many sunbeds and chairs to get tanned and getting straight into the lake for a bath The staff: Always smiling and ready for us. First time ever that my wishes were guessed and realized even before I'd ask: the right coffee on my breakfast table before I'd even sit. "I know my guests" was the usual answer I'd hear from Mrs. Vogel when I'd expressed my surprise. Unbelievable! And last but not least the stunning view on the lake and it's unforgettable sunsets. Bottom line, a unique experience which will be repeated. Thank you!"

"Hotel well located at the start of the 10 lakes trek. Peaceful corner. Quite romantic rooms (we tried two, one at the beginning and one at the end of the trek) the decor of the hotel is enchanting. The decoration is exquisitely picturesque. Books and books. A very warm welcome from a kind and smiling Nicole. The lunches are perfect, served in a room promoting calm. The hostess, a woman named Cody, is quite charming. The exterior decor is wonderful. Very close by, there is the farm, with the animals in their pasture. The swimming pool is impeccable. The beach is within walking distance, free access to the hotel guest at Fuschlseebad, complete site to enjoy a pleasant experience at the beach, as a couple or with family. Important to know, during the summer, the restaurants are quickly filled for dinner... remember to make a reservation. The hotel is also part of the neighboring hotel Ebner's Waldhof Bosch Ladepunkt, however, the friendliness of the employees varies greatly. Some staff members would benefit from showing more courtesy."

"The staff are friendly and welcoming, our complete inability to speak German was no problem. Excellent food and located directly on the lake with a wide choice of free water sports equipment such as canoes, pedalos and stand up paddle boards. Definitely go for a lake view room, the views are stunning and the balcony is v peaceful to sit out at night with a beer. Nice spa in the basement. "
