💛 I must commend Abby Lin, the breakfast staff member, for her excellent service throughout my entire stay! The dining experience was exceptional, with her gentle, thoughtful, and very responsive attitude. Whether it was answering inquiries, assisting with meals, or helping with other requests, she was always patient, meticulous, and had a warm smile. Her attention to detail was heartwarming; she proactively anticipated guests' needs, and her service was perfectly balanced—never intrusive, yet always making guests feel comfortable. During my autumn vacation, such high-quality service truly doubled the joy of my trip. Highly recommended! 👍

The hotel isn't located within the Wanda Resort area, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you don't have a car. It's relatively new on the west side of the mountain. Perhaps due to the general environment, it has the basic features of a five-star hotel, but the maintenance isn't as meticulous as it could be. We bought a pre-sale package in advance, and the price was incredibly good value, especially compared to the Crowne Plaza we stayed at later.

I enjoy staying at various hotel brands wherever I travel, and my recent trip to Pullman Changbaishan was a delightful surprise, so I'd like to share a bit more. The hotel's overall service felt very down-to-earth, without a lot of formal, pretentious gestures, which made it feel very friendly and comfortable. Many hotels try to mold their staff into robotic, standardized employees, but this is actually quite impersonal and uncomfortable for guests. For example, Evan at the front desk was very enthusiastic and proactive in offering suggestions, thinking of the guests, and providing personalized service without using canned phrases. This kind of service truly has warmth. The room was quite spacious, clean, and well-lit. I was fortunate enough to be there as the maple trees around the hotel were starting to turn red, creating beautiful colors. The breakfast selection was decent; not particularly amazing, but it met the standards of a star-rated hotel. The staff were efficient in promptly clearing dishes, ensuring the tables remained clean. In the evening, the indoor pool's temperature was a bit low, possibly due to the drop in outdoor temperature, making it feel a little cold after getting out of the water. I read online that the hotel's highlight is its deer park, which was indeed lovely. The deer weren't afraid of people at all; they were almost overly enthusiastic. If I had one suggestion, it would be for the hotel to increase its staff numbers. While it's impossible to achieve the Aman standard of a seven-to-one guest-to-staff ratio, the property is quite large. Sometimes you can walk a good distance without seeing any staff, which might make less frequent travelers feel a bit uneasy. Nevertheless, this accidental choice left me with very fond memories. If I have the chance again, I'll definitely bring friends to stay here. I've attached a few photos to commemorate the beautiful autumn in Changbaishan.

Not wanting to travel during the busy National Day Golden Week, and having already seen the Heavenly Lake in Changbai Mountain before, I decided to take my child on a trip this time. I looked at many hotels; even standard rooms at Home Inn and Jinjiang Inn were over 300 yuan. However, a group package for Pullman was only 499 yuan and included access to Hannashan Hot Springs. This made it comparable in price to economy hotels, but considering it's a five-star hotel, I went ahead and booked the Pullman. I'd stayed at one in Sanya before, and the overall service was excellent, and the rooms were very spacious. Five-star rating!

The service was excellent, the environment was lovely, and the breakfast was great. The staff were also wonderful, especially Luna and Lisa who provided attentive service – thumbs up! Although we couldn't go up Changbai Mountain due to the weather, I still felt this trip was fantastic and very relaxing.

Extremely satisfied. The hotel's location is not far from Fusong County, about a 5-minute drive to the Chixi distribution center, which is much more convenient than the Wanda area. The room overlooks a forest, and you can see stars from the balcony at night. The hotel service is excellent, offering pick-up and drop-off from the high-speed rail station and Chixi distribution center. The Lingnan Wuzhimaotao chicken soup and pork snout mushrooms recommended by Andrew at the hotel's Chinese restaurant were delicious.

This was by far the worst hotel experience of our trip. The hygiene in the room was appalling, as shown in the pictures. The slippers were yellow and had hair on them, the power outlets were covered in dust, there was hair in the bathtub, and many tissues were stuck to the window. For a so-called five-star hotel under Accor, I was truly shocked. It's either that the room hasn't been occupied in a long time or the cleaning staff are incredibly negligent. In short, the cleanliness was terrible. It also took half an hour for the slippers we requested to arrive. I eventually went downstairs and showed the front desk the photos… They ended up moving us to a new room and upgrading us, which was some form of compensation. The location is also quite remote. I do not recommend this hotel.

An excellent hotel with great service. Our stay was very comfortable, and the swimming pool was spotless. The shuttle service was also very convenient. We were lucky to see the complete Tianchi Lake, and the hotel's deer were gentle and adorable. If we have the chance to visit again, we will definitely choose this hotel.

Quite good. The mattress was super comfortable. Lulu was very cute and loved fruit; she'd chase you for it. It was a bit quiet with not many people around. The breakfast standard felt very low. The swimming pool was nice, but there were too many rude people; someone was smoking in the changing room.

The room was overall great, clean, and we even received complimentary welcome fruit. The hotel staff provided excellent service, promptly resolving any issues we had during check-in and efficiently handling reservations for activities. The only drawback was the subpar buffet restaurant. The Saturday night barbecue buffet offered only a few types of grilled meat, and the taste was mediocre. The overall variety of dishes was also limited, and breakfast wasn't much better in terms of selection. For a resort hotel, the dining options could definitely be improved. However, the Chinese restaurant was quite good, and their 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was very authentic.

As a traveler who has stayed at numerous Pullman hotels nationwide and traveled extensively for over two decades both domestically and internationally, our recent experience at the Changbaishan Pullman was arguably the worst we've ever had. From arrival to departure, it was a constant stream of disappointments, falling far short of the service standards expected from an Accor Pullman property. The 'Superior Forest View Twin' and 'Superior Forest View King' rooms we booked were met with nothing but perfunctory service. Upon self-driving to the hotel, the main entrance was closed and locked without any signs indicating which entrance to use. We had to drive around to find another entrance, creating a poor first impression. After parking, we started unloading our luggage from the trunk ourselves. A security guard eventually brought a luggage cart, but he showed no understanding of how to properly load luggage, stacking suitcases vertically without considering space for other bags. I had to rearrange them horizontally myself. Even more baffling, he didn't know how to retract the suitcase handle, hitting it twice before finally figuring out how to press the button. For a high-star hotel's concierge security, this lack of basic knowledge about a suitcase handle is unacceptable. After the luggage was brought to the front desk, check-in took a very long time. We had clearly requested high-floor, non-smoking rooms in our booking. However, the front desk initially assigned us rooms on the second floor. Only after we pointed out our request were we reluctantly moved to the fifth floor, where we were told only one room was available. When asked when the other room would be ready, the front desk agent stated she couldn't guarantee when it would be cleaned. We had no choice but to accept. The package we booked included hot spring access, rafting, and breakfast/dinner. The front desk made no proactive mention of any of these benefits. Regarding dinner, which offered a choice between a Chinese set menu or buffet, I had to ask if reservations were required. The front desk dismissively replied that no reservation was needed and we could go anytime. The entire interaction with the staff was cold and clearly annoyed. When we went to the Chinese restaurant for dinner, we were informed that the buffet was unavailable, and only the Chinese set menu was an option. Furthermore, there were no empty tables. They suggested seating us at a small temporary table in a corner, which was a very poor experience. After some negotiation, they reluctantly pieced together two small tables for us. If a package option cannot be fulfilled, guests should be informed during check-in, not confronted with it upon arriving at the restaurant. The frontline staff in the restaurant were passable, responding promptly and answering questions. However, the kitchen efficiency was extremely low. From the moment we entered the Chinese restaurant until all the dishes for our set meal were served, it took a full two hours and thirty minutes. The long wait was incredibly frustrating. Back in the room, the air conditioning in both rooms failed to cool properly, leaving the rooms hot and stuffy at night. Considering the late hour, we didn't bother the front desk. By 8 AM the next morning, the room was so hot I was sweating. I called the front desk to report the broken AC, and they verbally promised someone would be sent immediately. I called every ten minutes to follow up, and each time received the reply, 'they're on their way.' It wasn't until 8:29 AM that the maintenance staff arrived. The staff then made excuses, saying that temperatures in Northeast China are naturally lower at night. However, everyone has different temperature preferences, and the hotel should at least ensure the AC can regulate temperature normally, rather than using regional reasons as an excuse. On check-out day, we brought our luggage to the front desk to temporarily store it. The front desk staff was engrossed in their work, offered no greeting, not even a 'good morning,' and simply pointed vaguely in a direction without making eye contact. We pushed our luggage towards the indicated area, where we saw many suitcases but no staff. I walked back to the front desk to ask if it was okay to just leave our luggage there. The staff simply said, 'Just leave it there.' The experience was terrible; it felt as if we were an inconvenience. The hardware details were equally disappointing. Both the Superior Forest View Twin and Superior Forest View King rooms only provided two free bottles of water. The mini-fridge in the room was unplugged and empty. Having stayed in high-star hotels both domestically and internationally for years, I've rarely seen such stingy configurations at this level of hotel. With summer travel, the cost of water is not high, and such amenities completely contradict the hotel's positioning. Overall, it appears a large number of the hotel's frontline staff lack basic service training, and many are indifferent, making guests feel like they owe them something. The restaurant kitchen is inefficient, package benefits are not proactively communicated, and facility issues are dealt with tardily. From arrival, check-in, dining experience, to the burst water pipe in the shower (spraying water during use), noticeable grime in the sink, trash on the room floor, and a series of problems with room facilities up to luggage storage at check-out, it was all profoundly disappointing! Pullman is an international chain, and I hope that upper management takes these service deficiencies at this property seriously and addresses the genuine feedback from guests, to prevent the shortcomings of this branch from ruining the brand's entire reputation!

Flawless, except for the price. They have three adorable live deer, the buffet is delicious, diverse, and high-end, plus they offer hot springs and a free swimming pool. Super fancy!!!

As a five-star resort hotel, the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and my kids particularly loved it. The pickled cabbage and pork rib soup for breakfast was a delicious taste of Northeast China, while the other offerings were standard. The fruit selection was limited to only two types. The hotel's location is ideal for those traveling by car, about a 10-minute drive from Songjianghe Town. The EV charging stations are slow chargers, which might not be sufficient during peak season for self-driving guests. The hotel's forest trail is a definite highlight, perfect for a leisurely stroll! The gym, however, lacked towels and drinking water, possibly due to low usage leading to insufficient maintenance.

For our summer trip to Changbai Mountain, we ended up choosing the Pullman Changbaishan. It's an independent hotel, separate from Wanda and Luneng (now called Huamei Shengdi). It's the closest hotel to Songhuajiang Town, but you wouldn't really go to town without a car. The hotel has some good package deals, which attracts a lot of people, and it's definitely better value than Wanda or Huamei Shengdi. Overall, it was decent. They really need to do more routine maintenance though; even though we had a balcony room, the balcony looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages and even had weeds growing on it. The breakfast selection was also quite limited. A highlight of the hotel is that you can see deer, but there was a strange, foul smell in the corridor connecting the lobby to building two. I'm not sure if it was because of the deer.
