Park Hyatt Changbaishan

Our trip to Park Hyatt was absolutely delightful! My boyfriend proposed to me in Villa 88, so Park Hyatt Changbaishan will forever hold a romantic and beautiful memory for me. I also want to thank Joy, our dedicated duty manager, who was incredibly responsible and always responded promptly and efficiently to our questions, making our journey even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back next winter season!

Before coming, I was a bit nervous because I'd read reviews saying the Changbai Mountain Park Hyatt had poor service and was old. However, my experience this time was very satisfying. From the moment I arrived, the doorman proactively helped with my luggage and guided me to an orderly check-in queue, which was processed very quickly. This was quite impressive, especially since the hotel was fully booked during the New Year holiday. Joy, one of the staff members, provided thoughtful service and was quick to resolve any issues. Even after a slight mishap with a food delivery during my stay, she immediately helped fix the problem and coordinated everything with great enthusiasm. I felt very secure staying at the Park Hyatt. Additionally, it's very convenient for skiing, with its own clean and tidy ski house – unlike the chaotic and crowded slopes at Luneng. I was also lucky enough to catch a beautiful fireworks display from the viewing platform on the last day of the New Year holiday, without having to deal with crowds. The breakfast was also much better than at the Grand Hyatt, at least I could eat my fill. All in all, if I come back to Changbai Mountain for skiing, Park Hyatt will be my top recommendation.

Facilities: The room facilities are about 80% new, and the ski resort is excellent with all new equipment. Environment: Snow everywhere, and you can see skiers and the ski slopes from your room. Service: The staff are all very enthusiastic. The breakfast was quite good and varied, and the soufflé was delicious 😋. Our butler, Michelle, was fantastic 👍. She was also very patient and helpful in finding my ID and forgotten items. The ski resort is quite large, with nearly 30 (or 20+) slopes. The instructors are all very professional, skilled, and their attitude is great! Absolutely amazing! The hot spring was also pretty good. We came during the Chinese New Year, and the outdoor temperature was minus ten degrees Celsius. It would have been even better if the hot spring's temperature was a bit higher, as it was only lukewarm. There's also a dry sauna and a wet sauna 🤗

This hotel is definitely not worth the price. The facilities are outdated, and the hygiene is severely lacking. How many times do you clean the rooms between stays? When we checked in, there were still broken glass pieces on the balcony, and the trash can in the bathroom had leftover garbage! The room also had a strange odor. The front desk staff were unhelpful and dismissive. The 'hot spring' pool was just heated water, not actual温泉. The whole experience was terrible, and I will definitely not be returning!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, with ski-in/ski-out access. There are also plenty of activities, including a beautiful fireworks display, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance!

The room was great, exceeding our expectations. We, two adults and one child, had a wonderful stay. The service was also very good, and ski equipment rental was super convenient, with lots of free perks to enjoy. The only minor improvements I'd suggest are regarding the breakfast staff's attentiveness and if the hotel could arrange more ski instructors for guests. We stayed for four days and still couldn't book a lesson. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We'll definitely stay here again.

Special shout-out to Eric and Boris from concierge for their excellent service! I was very satisfied with everything about the hotel. I'll definitely choose Park Hyatt again next time I'm in Changbai Mountain. We stayed for 6 days, and I appreciate the complimentary extra bed.

Perfect for a family vacation! The place is very clean, the staff is incredibly service-minded, and the food is delicious.
