The staff at Park Hyatt Hadahaa went above and beyond for our wedding and honeymoon. They put in the effort to get to know us before the event and surprised us with personal touches in the ceremony that blew us away. We never dreamed we would see a pod of dolphins right outside our villa as we got ready for our wedding! The scenery cannot be beat. Everything was easy and well thought out. It was perfect and relaxed. The chef and food/bev director worked with us to create a custom dream menu for the after wedding 7 course meal on the beach. In fact, Chef Sandeep surprised us with food that was not on the menu almost everyday. It was beyond delicious and so thoughtful. We were there for 16 days and the food never got old. The staff pampered us and knew exactly what we needed or wanted even before we knew what we wanted or needed. Our host (called butler at other resorts), Monika, blew our socks off with her dedication to us and her level of hospitality and service. She would respond to any need within minutes - we felt like royalty. We had a few medical issues pop up and Dr. Santosh was incredibly quick to help, very skilled and knowledgeable, and checked back in to ensure we were okay. The healthcare was free of charge and Dr. Santosh far exceeded any expectations we had of a resort doctor. The dive shop was another highlight of the trip - we did multiple scuba certifications through Blue Journeys. Everyone at the shop (especially Ali) and on the dive boat was helpful, calming, a great teacher, service oriented, and had safety top of mind. The reefs are still healthy and alive around the island and islands nearby so it was incredibly special to witness life thriving there (so many reefs around other parts of the Maldives have lost their colors and life). I saw something magical on every dive (turtles, rays, sharks, dolphins, eels, huge schools of fish, and much more!). I highly recommend staying at Park Hyatt Hadahaa and diving with Blue Journeys! We could not have asked for anything more spectacular.
