My children and I checked in on 2/15/21 and checked out 2/17/21. Our stay was pleasant. The room was clean. The breakfast is good with a wide variety of choices. The staff we were able to interact with was friendly and helpful. We did see one staff member who did not interact with is at all, not even a hello. This was the person in breakfast. Our first morning we barely saw her as we got breakfast and took it back to our room. The morning we checked out we dined in the dining room. We saw one person enjoying their breakfast and the breakfast staff member was in the kitchen coming out to restock some items as we made our selections. As we looked for a table the first one was dirty. So we took one in front of it. I figured the breakfast staff member would clean it and the one the other guest had vacated while we ate. 20 minutes later when we left those tables were still dirty and I heard a phone in the kitchen. It sounded like a video the staff member was watching in the kitchen. It would have been nice had she been out there wiping tables and saying good morning to her guests. I give the hotel an over 4 but the breakfast staff member a 1. It was bad enough that she had dirty tables but terrible that they were dirty because she was on her phone. Extremely unprofessional.

New managers are fantastic!! Have made so many improvements. These rooms are huge! Most Rodeway Inns do not offer breakfast but this one has has a full range of choices. Definitely stay here if you are going to Winstar ******. No need to pay high prices.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Gainesville I-35

We stayed here twice on our trip - once on the way out, and then again on the return. The rooms were both on the first floor. One room (105) was closer to the highway, but a darned sight better than the one away from the highway (124) but with the dumpster right outside our window. We were awakened at around 2 am by the trash truck because of that. The pool was open (as long as you got a staff member to unlock it for you), but it is not heated -- brrrrrr! The fitness center was also open, but you needed a staff member to unlock it. We are new to the Fairfield Inn's, as we'd never stayed in one before. So the lack of anywhere to sit in the room other than on the bed or an uncomfortable desk/vanity type chair, was disappointing. We don't know if this is the way Fairfields go, or whether that's just this particular one.

Great price, large clean room, fast internet, easy access to restaurants. Great place to « stay on the way ». Very quiet, even with the interstate so close. Standard pot Covid breakfast, but that’s why we always pack pnut butter!
Comfort Suites Gainesville

Extremely nice hotel. Very clean. Modern decor. Late breakfast (10:00). Reminds me a little bit of Cambria set up. All staff was friendly, helpful, professional, efficient. Christopher at check in went above and beyond to get us adjoining rooms. Comfortable beds. And the best shower. We used points. Great value. Lots of restaurants nearby. We will definitely be staying here again on our way home.
