Dolphin Bay Seaside Resort & Suites

We had such a lovely stay at Dolphin Bay Hotel. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the sea and the most peaceful atmosphere. It feels like the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Syros. The hotel is very comfortable, family-friendly, and welcoming, and the staff were kind, helpful, and always available with a smile. Everything felt easy, from the rooms (amazing two-bedroom suite!) to the pool, the beach access, and the overall experience. What I loved most was the feeling of being somewhere simple, authentic, and full of Greek summer charm. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind, enjoy beautiful sunsets, and create lovely memories with family or friends. Thank you to the Dolphin Bay team for a wonderful stay. We would happily come back. Highly recommended!

We had three days in this hotel and it surpassed my expectations. We dont usually stay in resort style places but as friends were staying we decided to join them and we were not disappointed. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well laid out and appear to have been recently updated. Beds are a little narrow but with good mattresses. Breakfast and lunch was included in the price and both offered a great buffet with a varied selection of savoury dishes and salads. The dessert section deserved revisiting, again and again! Cold drinks, coffee and a beer tap were also included. The location cannot be beat, overlooking what is, for me, the best beach in Syros. The view from our balcony (see pics below) was mesmerising. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were super happy with our stay here and intend to return again. Tip: Climb the few steps to the small church next to the hotel at sunset for incredible views.

Lovely stay at Dolphin Bay. We had a family room. Very comfortable , clean and lovely garden view. Pool area nice although very busy. Beach just outside the hotel is beautiful with clear water. A lovely shallow bay to have a swim in. All staff very helpful and friendly. Nice touch for the kids with free popcorn and ice-cream round the pool bar during the day.

We have just enjoyed an excellent stay at The Dolphin Bay Resort on Syros. This well formed and well priced family resort is like a Greek fishing village perched in the hillside overlooking Galissas Bay and beach. The sea is just a minutes wall from the reception of the hotel and it's blue flag for sea cleanliness proudly flutters in the breeze. The water is crystal clear with hardly a ripple. Perfect for early morning swims with the locals. Just like the sea, the pool is very clean, deep and refreshing to dive into. It is one of the best exercising pools I have experienced at a family hotel. It is a good length and width and is deep enough to dive into for 60% of the length. The pool is not just for doing laps, there are plenty of umbrellas and loungers to relax on. There is also a kids slide and a baby pool, so everyone cam be kept amused. There's a pool bar and restaurant, for snacks and drinks and the main restaurant serves evening meals and a broad offering of buffet breakfast. There were food options for all tastes, including vegetarian and vegan. The rooms and suites are varied to suit all groups and differing tastes. Some have been renovated recently, all are clean, well kept and have effective Air Conditioning and solar hot water. As they are spread over hillside, you get a decent exercise walking around. For those that don't want the challenge, there are two elevators that give the less ambitious access to the different levels. We were there in mid summer, so our activities were limited by the heat, but there is a tennis court and table tennis table on site. The resort is a 15 minute drive from the port and accessible to other beaches and island attractions. The small village in the bay is home to a few decent restaurants and bars and has a well used bus stop. We stayed for 4 nights and could have stayed for longer. There was so much to do on the island and didn't feel that we had done all that was to offer in the area.

This trip was particularly memorable thanks to our exceptional accommodation. We were assigned a superb two-bedroom suite featuring a spacious living room. The highlight, without a doubt, was the large, private balcony. Waking up every morning to the breathtaking, panoramic view of the bay was an incredible way to start the day. The suites are perfectly designed for families, offering the space and comfort needed to truly relax. Beyond the spacious rooms, the resort excels in its amenities and hospitality, particularly with its staff. They are consistently singled out in reviews for being incredibly helpful and welcoming, making every guest feel like a valued returner. Crucially, the team was responsive to our every request, handling each inquiry with meticulous care and professionalism. This level of personalized service truly sets Dolphin Bay apart. For families, the location and facilities are ideal. The pool area is sparkling clean and beautifully maintained, and the resort offers direct, easy access to the stunning, crystal-clear beach just steps away. Finally, the culinary experience is top-tier. The breakfast buffet is excellent, generous, and wonderfully varied, ensuring there is something delicious for every member of our family. Great hotel Lovely stay in mid September. Large pool but cool. Very close to the sandy beach. It is a climb to some of the rooms.

Beautiful location right on the beach, very quiet and peaceful in September. Rooms large with spacious balcony. Food choice and quality excellent but could have been warmer.

Dolphin bay was an amazing stay. I was here for a week with a group, they were incredibly accommodating and super helpful. We were supposed to leave but our Ferris was delayed a day and they accommodated us getting new rooms. The rooms were very clean, the beach is really close and the pool is huge! Highly recommend!

Great family resort the pool and location of the beach was wonderful. Kids enjoyed free ice-cream and popcorn throughout the day. Pool service was pricey but there are many options very close by for food and drinks. Our room (family) was quite dated however we knew people in a single room and it was newly renovated and had great views.
