The Jungle Loft Galle

This stay was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. The room is in the heart of nature, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of the wild, fresh air away from the roads, and the peace and quiet that comes with a more intimate stay. Additionally, the breakfasts have been our favourite, especially the hoppers! It was all fresh and Sri Lankan style, served with the jungle in front of us. One morning, we had monkeys. Another, chipmunks. One special night, we had fireflies. The location was exceptional. However, it was Praneeth who really made this place special for us. We had great conversations, and he even recommended me a great birdwatching app. One night, we chatted for a couple of hours and I learned so much about this beautiful country. Genuinely, Praneeth is a huge value to Jungle Loft. He was attentive, thoughtful and a wonderful representation of the kindness Sri Lankan people exude. Thank you so much, Praneeth for your warmth! I can’t recommend Jungle Loft enough. It’s an ideal location, it’s private, it’s beautiful, and you’ll be looked after. Go for it!!

Was a great stay on a villa in the jungle, very comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was amazing and the owner and his family are very hospitable and nice.

Location: 4.8/5 (away from the main city by around 10-15 mins in a Tuk Tuk. Rooms: 5/5 (Jungle Loft - Monkey Villa) Very well done up and Neat. A lot of space in the rooms and you will enjoy opening the French doors everyday to enjoy the birds and greenery. Host: 5/5 Friendly and kind. Indika was very friendly to talk to and has been a good host. The property is built over a period of time by Indika and Alex. It's a beautifully done up home with simplicity - which we loved. They can cater to Vegetarian guests (Indian especially) if you love Sri Lankan cuisine. The String hoppers we had here were the best I had in my entire stay in SriLanka( a big big thanks to Indika's wife). Hot water in the shower is perfect. The tub has a lovely view. You will love the birds chirping around during the day. We were blessed to have 0 mosquitoes in the room during our stay. Note: it may take a little time to get a tuk tuk. 4 wonderful houses and a nice pool directly in the jungle! This place is so stunning. We came here to have some relaxing days outside of the city (it’s very near to Galle). If you have the option to book it, do it - you’ll not regret. The team is very nice and the house is super clean. If you do a massage here ask for Harsha & Gayani.

We stayed in the Jungle loft and it exceeded our expectations. We extended our stay! Peaceful and quiet in nature. Away from the buzz but only a 10 min tuk tuk from the centre/beach. The loft was spacious and the bath was amazing! I had a massage in the front room and it was sensational. Staff went above and beyond to care for us and the food was amazing! Our best stay in Sri Lanka!
